Name: Rufio De Luca

Appearance: Red-headed Rufio is a tall young man, not particularly atheistic but lean and well toned by years of practice in fencing as well as a strictly vegetarian diet. The dark circles under his otherwise bright blue eyes contrast with the natural polar of his freckled skin. Just above the square jaw passed on by his late father, is a set of thin and seldom-smiling lips. Overall, the only son and eldest sibling of the De Luca house bears the look of one who is haunted, and understandably so, some would say.

Bio: Up until the time of his mysterious death, Rufio's venerable father, Adalmo, had been patriarch of the Civetta Guild, a large and highly influential trading company headed by several ruling families which are all subject to the overriding will of the master family. It is a position the De Lucas have held with pride for over 80 years. However, the guild's charter states the the master family must be headed by a married male heir of direct decent. If this clause is unfulfilled, the father of one of the other ruling families will be made patriarch and master of the guild.

Adalmo would sire ten children between two wives, nine daughters and only one son and heir. Rufio. Many feared De Luca's dynasty would be broken if anything were to happen to the boy. Assassinations were not uncommon between the ruling families as they secretly jousted for position within the guild. But Rufio grew up safely, and for a time it appeared he would soon be married to his childhood love, Christina. She and Rufio were inseparable. Though the other De Luca's questioned her worth, Rufio had refused all other suitors, and Adalmo was quickly aging. Then, without warning, both he and Christina were both afflicted by a terrible illness, and passed away mere hours within each other.

Rufio was devastated, though he could have cared less about his family's fall from power. While his sister's and grandmother consoled him they urgently pressed the fact that if Rufio didn't choose a wife--and soon--then he and the rest of the family would be made sub servant to a new master family for untold generations. But in his grief, Rufio refused and declared that he would never love again. Unwilling to let him ruin their wealth and prosperity, the De Luca sisters began plotting with their grandmother to find a way to get Rufio married, and save themselves from losing the only way of life they had ever known. Something drastic had to be done...

Name: Amelia Vivanno

Age: 3,000

Race: Vampire

Clan: Amelia is part of the Tal'mahe'Ra otherwise known as the True Black Hand. They are a clan of assassins that use their vampiric abilities to infiltrate other factions. During the Sixth Maelstrom in the Shadowlands, however, most of her clan was abolished, leaving Amelia a rogue, a lone Vampire, in a cold, dark world. She quietly blended into the clan she'd been assigned to infiltrate, the Camarilla. Already being an accepted member of this clan, due to her infiltrations, Amelia took root, soon marrying into the "Eldest Family".

She has long, waist length, light brown hair, with intense, crystal blue eyes. Her skin is incredibly pale, though looks, and feels, like pure cream. Her body is willowy, elegant, and always graceful, even if she's strong enough to lift a car. She's lithe, and limber, and always dressed in the most dazzling clothes. Her face is the epitome of beauty, with soft skin, and elegant lines; high cheekbones, though not too high, and perfect, pouty lips.

Personality: Amelia is tall, elegant, and refined in not only her appearance, but also her demeanor. She appears soft spoken, almost demure, and usually seems to keep her cool, though just under the surface is her inner beast, ready to attack at a moment's notice. She can go from calm and collected, to raging, vampiric pissed, in less than an instant.

Bio: Amelia considers her life to have begun, not the day she was born human, but the day she was turned, 3,000 years ago. She was, almost immediately, accepted into the True Black Hand, honing her skills, and becoming a deadly assassin. Once the clan was all but abolished after the Shadowlands, Amelia aligned herself with the Camarilla, quickly marrying Stefan, the son of the Eldest, Jeremy. When Jeremy died, two hundred years ago, it put Stefan in a place of power, now being the Eldest, and Amelia was his queen. This lasted for about eighty years, until Stefan died, leaving Amelia alone to over see the Camarilla clan.

She's begun hosting, and attending Masquerade parties, as is required of the head of the clan.
