Dr. Henry Philip High. (IC) (Possibly Mature)

The sound of students exceptionally hard at work filled the halls of Dr. Henry Philip High, the sound of the Philip High Football team practicing for their next big game, and the sound of the students in the glee club singing until their lungs were sore. The school bell rang as each student stepped out of their individual classes, looking at some of the new faces of other students. It was the beginning of a new year for the students, and most of the former students met with their old classmates within the cafeteria, divulging in their new classes for the semester, new crushes within the new faces, and discussions of the new ways to humiliate the freshmen. Jesse sat down next to his team mates, holding a piece of paper in front of him whilst looking at it in disgust. "This is absolute shit! They didn't have enough people for the damn coaching subject, so they put me in forensic studies!" Jesse scrunched up the piece of paper and threw it in the closest garbage can. His darkened eyes seemed much darker than usual as his tail tripped a nearby student, causing the students lunch to fly up into the air, before catching an apple and unhinging his jaw, letting the apple slide down his throat.

Some of the members of the team began laughing, but one of them, Maximillion Oxford, seemed to try and comfort Jesse. "Don't worry about it dude... Hell, a subject like that will totally get you a damn scholarship... Count yourself lucky. We have to work to get ours... Be thankful you're just the quarterback of the team... You'll actually go somewhere!" The rest of the team stopped their chuckling and began glaring at Jesse. "Hey, come on guys... We are all going to make it big... We will just need to... Ah forget it." Jesse shrugged it off and walked off to see the principal.

Shuanna walked through the highschool with ease, unlike the poor incoming freshmen. She'd always feel bad for them as she knew that most of them would be late for their classes for a few days. In her feelings of sympathy she wish she could help them all.
Of course this was just her imagination, and looking at her schedule she had gotten from the counselor had brought her back to reality.
Saying the classes in her head, she thought about where they would be located amongst the hall wings.
english, math, art, history and.. gym
She was nervous, even though she was thinking to herself, the word gym always came out with disgust. Like the look you make when you pull out a bunch of brown, crusty ear wax from your ear on a little dinky Q-tip, so you have to turn it around and dreadfully wait to see if there is more to scowl at.

Lunch. Lilith sat by herself in a table in the corner, picking at the food on her tray and trying to ignore the stares. Not that the other students could really be blamed for it. This was her first time back since what happened last spring. She had hoped for everyone to have forgotten over the summer, but that was clearly not the case.

With a well practiced sigh Lilith took a look at her schedule. Two art classes was a definite step up from last year. She picked at her food some more, and continued to pretend not to notice the whispers and stares. It was going to be a long year.

Malikai was sitting on a table by himself, a plastic covered bowl with leftover steak in it sitting next to him. He was holding a script in his hand, reading the same couple of lines over and over again, then shutting his eyes and mouthing the words he had just read. He reached for a bit of steak while his eyes were still shut, grabbed a chunk and placed it in his mouth as he finished the last word smiling, partially for completing the line and partially for the delicious steak.

He was known pretty well at the school, but unless he was close to someone, he was pretty shy. But up on the stage it was like he was a completely different person. He could be anyone and speak as freely as the lines would allow him without being any kind of shy at all.

He set down the script and ran his fingers through his mane, looking around at all the familiar and new faces. He felt like it was going to be a pretty good year and for once was sort of excited to meet some new people.

Siri eyed her schedule, her ears tilted back as she looked over her class list, she had just finished her herbalism class, one she had little joy to have... after the lunch break was the dreaded History course... Oh, how she was not looking forward to history... specially not with the history teacher they had. If it weren't for the fact her grand-mama and the teacher would have different importance values.. she'd just doodle in class and have her grand-mama actually teach her history... No luck there.

The caribou grumbled, her hooves clicking against the tiled floor, grabbing her pay card to pay for her lunch, before looking around the room for familiar faces. Seeing one of the drama-students by him-self, Malikai, if she remembered right, she took a seat, and began munching on a salad. She gave him an idle wave, glancing at the paper in the lion's hand.

“Drama-club already starting their first production? Must be important...” She said, bemused. She liked most the drama students enough... but she rather hated the drama club it-self, and avoided it like the plague.. specially as winter came nearer... They liked to try to recruit her then...

“You're in my Math and English classes, right? Do you remember which wing Math is this year? My list just says the teacher's name.” She shrugged a bit, glaring back at the list, before eating a chicken finger. She paused a moment, and raised an eyebrow, looking at the chicken finger.

“Hey, they actually got decent chicken that tastes like chicken, imagine that.”

Shuanna pitter pattered her way to the cafeteria like every other student. She stopped and frowned at the long lines, it seemed as though she wasn't early enough to be the first few. Sighing she took a seat at a table by herself, knowing that she'd have to wait untill the lines shortened up. Although that would also mean that the food would be limited.
Looking around the cafeteria she noticed Malikai and Siri. Shuanna did know their names but never really met their acquaintances, most of her friends were seniors last year and now they have graduated. She felt awful lonely with out them, but she would always think to herself that other people have it a lot worse..
No need to beat yourself up over something you can't control..

Jesse walked down the halls of Dr. Henry Philip High, slightly disgruntled at what had happened with his classes. After a good five minutes of angered walking and the casual bumping into the nerds that normally helped him with his homework, he had made it to the door of the principal, Mrs Anabelle Nightshade, a former teacher who stayed at the school so long she finally got the promotion she deserved, as the principal. He stepped into her office and slammed his new class timetable down on her desk. "What the hell is this? The coach said there was more than enough people for the new class, and I'm stuck in some sciency class?" Jesse paced around her desk, spending every odd second to look at her. "Look, Jesse... You are right, there was a lot of interest towards the class, but we need to give it to the people who have the potential to be great coaches... And the way you are acting now, shows that you will not be able to follow that potential. You have been put in the Forensics class as a test.. We have a scholarship waiting for you if you can pass this one subject as well as your other classes with flying colours. This could get us into loads of trouble, so please... Try and keep it a secret." Anabelle smiled as she continued her duties as principal.

"Alright then... Well this class better not suck ass... That's the last damn thing I want." Jesse shook his head and walked through the nerds yet again to get to his teammates. "There's no way of getting out of it... This is fucking bullshit!"
