Typical Band RP

This will be vaguely similar to the RP Mike created a fairly long time ago, I do have his permission to start it up again on the grounds that the last one fizzled out from both lack of posting and a few people leaving the site. The roleplay will follow the band progressing from their early years, from forming first off as either friends, or friends of friends, their first minor gig, the parties, the after parties, finally making it big, and the success that will follow. If we get enough interest, then the sheet information will be going up. What does everyone think?

Biology
Her long hair is dirty blonde. During the winter it darkens to almost brown while summertime brings out a more golden blonde. She has blue-gray eyes and milky white skin and a fantastic pout face. Ellie is very thin and not as curved as she would like (Only a B cup? Lame genetics.). Ellie has a heart shaped face and a soft, delicate nose. She stands at the (un)impressive height of 5’0.

Style
Her style is very feminine. She loves dresses and skirts. That is the one thing that is consistent. Her style changes drastically between night and day. By day, she wears soft or neutral colors and looks fairly innocent. By night she breaks out the bright reds, sexy blacks, and the occasional leather. Then, just to mix things up, she’ll switch and do the bad girl by day, good girl by night thing for a little bit.

Demeanor
Ellie has led a very sheltered life. Her features, the way she stands, and the way she navigates the world all reek of innocence and naivety. Her attempts at playing bad girl come off as adorable at best and comical at worst. Occasionally, she tries to be mysterious. Unfortunately, her emotions show right on her very expressive face so the mystery thing can never quite work.

The Birth
Her father wasn’t there. That would never change. Ellie’s mother was driven to the hospital by her own mom, who refused to go over the speed limit despite Suzie Virtanen’s harsh demands. Due to the slow driving, Ellie came out almost as soon as they arrived at the hospital, much to Suzie’s chagrin. Giving birth without painkillers is a bitch. But there was Ellie, sweet as pie!

The Childhood
Ellie was very close to her mother growing up. The two of them moved around from place to place. Ellie had no one but Suzie and Suzie had no one but Ellie. Their lives were made of chaos and change. Her mother was addicted to love and hated being single. Unfortunately, she also had terrible taste. Both of them endure some pretty terrible things thanks to this poor judgment.

The House
They finally settled down. That marked the biggest change of Ellie’s entire life. She was not quite sure how to interact with children her own age. Ellie was never able to get close to her classmates because she never knew when she would move again. This was her chance to get the one thing she always wanted. A best friend. This was easier said than done. Ellie connected easiest with older kids.

The Band
She found her crowd. A love of music and a passion for singing soon led Ellie to earning her bandhood. Which was way better than knighthood, sisterhood, or any of the other hoods in her opinion. And now that she’s done with high school and her mother is happy in marriage number three, Ellie will have all the time in the world to devote to her new direction in life.

Biography: She was born in Berlin, Germany and grew up in America. From a young age she has mastered the piano from the age of three. Her first lessons proved she had the skills to be a masterful musician. As she got older her parents, both musicians hoped to keep her going along the musical path. Jessika wanted to go further as well, but as school got in the way she rarely touched the piano. It was only two years, but it seemed longer for her. Still she managed to find a few hours a week to keep up a bit of practice. Once hitting high school she picked up the piano and also vocals in school. She was a good singer with an alto tone voice. Over time she was introduced to a group of peers who wanted to make a band and joined in the idea.

I also had a little idea for the RP, where our first posts can somewhat be vaguely similar, I mean, we know that in the roleplay, the band will make it big, but I was thinking the first paragraph can be our characters at their best, worst, or even their final moments... What do you guys think?

Biography: Taylor Mann is not your typical tortured artist, musician. Sure, he's not talkative, and a little bit mysterious, but it doesn't mean he's out of touch and detached. In ever since Taylor was young, he had an all consuming passion for music. His entire family was supportive and believed he would excel in the field. His talent was nurtured; he was given a stand up bass by the time he was eight, and private lessons by the time he was ten. He was all set to go off to music school, when he decided that he'd rather stay here. His parents were confused, but he told them he wasn't ready to leave yet. What confused them even more was when he joined a rock band and stated the this was the music he needed. It was like him, to have insight that a normal teenager wouldn't have and leave it at that. It's what made him a wonderful lyricist. He wrote for the band, and yet, he refused to sing any of his songs. He said that there was music in the words, and that the singers would have to find it themselves. And it's not like anyone minded. He didn't try to take control of the music; once they had something, he would add something for the bass and step back. It's a little bit weird, but hey, at least he's not a diva.

He's not one for the spot-light, always standing in the back near the drums, never takes credit for his lyrics. He's also so low status, it's hard not to get along with him, although sometimes, his silence gets a bit awkward.

Wesley's appearance always looks semi-sloppy, be it his wide range of shirts with phrases like 'See you all at my intervention' or 'Its irony, you dumb bitch', to the colored range of hoodies that he wears that seem to never be washed. His pants only come in two styles... Jeans or sweat, his sweatpants look even grubbier than his hoodies, yet his jeans always seem to look brand spanking new. His sneakers add an extra inch to his six foot, two inch height, yet no matter how bad a shape they are in, they are still his shoe of choice. Wesley's hair color seems to change every week, sometimes to the same as two weeks before, other times, some of the most obscure colors ever imagined. His crystal blue eyes seem to always be covered with a pair of aviator shades.
Biography: There isn't much to say about Wesley Jakobs, he grew up in some old town that nobody had ever really heard of, barely attended the local school of the town, but found he had much better things to do with his time, like sleep or practice the guitar. He had grown up in what books would call a 'happy family', a mother, who was always on his case about school and telling him to get a job, a father, who was never there to spend time with his family because of work issues and secretly meeting up with his secretary, and a little sister, which even though was slightly younger, had already been promised steady employment with a company in the city. Wesley didn't care that his life possibly wouldn't go anywhere, as long as he had his music, his entertainment, and the little friends he had, then he would be fine.

While everyone around him became successful and shown numerous achievements within their lives, Wesley became a little shut-in, playing his guitar throughout the day while everyone was gone, and then turning on the Playstation to play a little Guitar Hero when everyone was home. The one day he finally got sick of it all and just stepped out of the house for a while, he stayed outside of someones house, listening to their little garage band play their hearts out, the guitarist was sloppy, and he knew that with that small circle of friends that he had, that they would make a much better band then that sloppy garage band. The second he pulled his cell out of his pocket, was the day Wesley's life changed for the better...
