Hmm. Well, I won't impose on Sunal, but I might be able to help lay out a basic plot.

Okay... Suppose this takes place somewhere in the deep pine forests of Canada and the human payer has just moved into a beautiful two story cabin set high on a hill with a view of a lake. It's old, and a bit weathered, but that helped the real estate agency mark it as a bargain. They say the previous owner up and disappeared several years ago. It was only after he/she was missing long enough to be declared legally dead that their house was put on the market, and it quickly proves to be the dream home of the human player(s).
Until the day the original owner returns to find his/her home invaded and all their old furniture missing. Naturally the owner is quit upset and their temper isn't helped by the fact that they're actually a werewolf, or that the land the house is built on straddles the border between two rival werewolf clans, who are supposed to be due for another biannual brawl with territory and mating rights at stake.
It had been the soul-sworn duty of the original resident werewolf to mediate these violent meetings to make sure they never got out of hand, but for some reason they've been away for several years. And in the time the two rival clans have gone berserk. They no longer honor the role of the moderating werewolf, or the pact laid down by their ancestors that had kept their clans in a chilled but otherwise peaceful relationship.
The news of a human in the borderlands is like blood in the water. Both clans see an opportunity to gain a new member, heedless of the fact that the forgotten pact forbade involving humans in anyway, muchness turning them. Helpless to stop the senseless violence, but still sworn to their duty, the only mission of the guardian werewolf becomes protecting the human player, who is now the only purpose they have in borderlands.
