Marcia Brown was a small mousy-looking woman. She had dull brown hair and dull brown eyes hidden behind dull glasses. She was the person you see in your yearbook when you flip through it, pause for a moment trying to remember her, then turn the page and promptly forget her again.

Her friends in school were never that close, and after graduation never really kept in touch. Her family was worse. A overly successful brother who always got all the attention, a mother who always berated her daughter (who perhaps reminded her to much of herself), and a father who ignored his wife and daughter on the good days.

It was after college (community college, degree in business management, despite not having the personality for and managing position) that she discovered the internet. More specifically, she discovered the millions of chat rooms on the internet. At first she was disgusted by all the things she saw. But eventually, she seemed to find one that suited her. She even made a friend on there, and she felt they really click. Finally, she had thought. Someone who understands me.

Their relationship had grown even farther, and they eventually decided to meet in real life. Which is why Marcia found herself in Starbucks at one in the afternoon, on Saturday, sipping nervously at her overly complicated coffee.

A man walked a long the sidewalk, heading towards the starbucks cooly.
He yawned idly as he walked, revealing actual white, straight teeth. The brightness of his green eyes was surprisingly vivid and bright.
It was a bit chilly, so he was wearing a big, black coat which mostly hid his appearance along with his black hair. His head held a handsome but stoic, emotionless face as he almost seemed like a ghost. The gleam of his small rectangular glasses helped him seem a little more human.
At last he reached the starbucks, Opening the door he walked in silently.

Marcia looked up when the door opened, like she had for the past half hour. But this time it was different. This time it was... him. She practically leapt from her chair, waving him over.

But wait, was that too much? She blushed and shrunk back into her seat. He'd probably walk right back out now. Why did she always do this, ruin perfectly good opportunities. This is why she lost the job last month. And why her old boy friend dumped her. Her head met the table with a think, almost spilling her drink. This was not good.

Benjamin came in with a smile on his face, seeing Marica broke his spell of a cold as stone demeanor.
As he walked to her, he had begun to take off his big coat, revealing his black suit and pants, tucked over a bright red tie.
He seemed very formal, like a politician.
"Marcia..!" he said cheerfully as he draped his coat over the chair and sat down.
"The ever famous." he smiled flashing his bright perfect teeth at her.

Oh God, what should she say? Come on, Marcia, think of something clever! You've talked to this man a million times before online! It can't be that hard to find something to talk about. "...Hi." She smiled nervously, absently picking at her sweater's sleeve, feeling under dressed. Her face was slightly pink as she tried to meet his eyes.

Ben had wondered if he was coming off as a little over bearing. Maybe He shouldn't have come in his work cloths.
"how are you? Are you alright?" He noticed that she fidgeted a bit.
A waitress had walked over, taking notice to Benjamin right away before looking to Marcia.
"Hello! is there anything I can get for you?" Her attention was more to Ben.
"Black coffee please.." Ben replied, but he hardly looked at the waitress.
As the waitress faded away, he had to ask.
"There isn't any trouble at home is there..? ..." He shown immediate concern.
It was almost like a Cat having a Mouse cornered, the mouse having no Idea how to act as the Cat took a strange attitude towards the mouse.
"..Im sorry if I look like a lawyer, I just came from work.." Now he was the one feeling a little embarrassed, as he felt out of place.
