Guitar Hero (The entire franchise) Empty
PostSubject: Guitar Hero (The entire franchise)   Guitar Hero (The entire franchise) EmptySun Aug 23, 2009 5:51 am

The Guitar Hero Franchise has changed alot since it was first introduced, starting with the familiar companies, such as Activision, Red Octane and Havok, not to mention that hardly any of the songs that were in both Guitar Hero one, two and Rock the 80's were not sung by the original band. These all changed with the release of Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock, with the introduction of Neversoft also helping within production of the game. The major graphical updates made wonders, the setlists were all original songs and not played by someone else, and the new features of the Battle mode, brand new characters, and even being able to play as Slash from Guns n' Roses. Guitar Hero 3 slowly became the number one party game, as many skilled players would attempt the hardest song on there on the hardest difficulty.... 'Through The Fire and the Flames' by Dragonforce. The franchise took to a new level after introducing their first game where you play as a current band... Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, filled with some of their greatest songs. Come 2008, and the people who made Guitar Hero outdone themselves, with the release of Guitar Hero World Tour, which was released a week after Rock Band, making it the second musical game to include guitars, drums and a microphone, for the ultimate band experience. Near the beginning of 2009, Guitar Hero Metallica was introduced, making it the second band related title from the franchise.

Discuss high scores, favourite songs, and even some of the achievement's/trophie's you have unlocked during gameplay.

I can't say I'm very good at it, seeing as I can't get past the medium difficulty...

I can't even do 'Through Fire and Flames' on anything other than easy...

I rock so much it hurts sometimes..

Trust me Q.... Nobody can do it on hard... Not even after playing through a few songs...

But that's not why I am here, just finding out if anyone here that is a PS3 owner has a copy of Guitar Hero 5, or Guitar Hero Metallica... Kind of need an awesome partner of awesomeness to help get some of the rewards from songs...

I have GH Metallica on the Xbox 360, but I haven't played it much, as I've been playing Rock Band. I'll get round to it eventually.. lol

Damn, 360 doesn't do much for me... Curse the way how 360 and PS3 aren't compatible!

I suck at it but my favorite (and first played) is Iron Man by Black Sabboth.
