Smashverse

Every year the Smash Brothers HQ has held a great tournament. The very first Tournament was simply called " super smash brothers" which contained the original brothers. In the following year, brought "SSB Melee" where the original brothers were met with new comers and new experiences. Now with Super Smash Brothers Brawl coming to an' end, the Original brothers, as well as new brothers head for home to await the next annual tournament and more new brothers.

"okay guys!" The door to the lab and the technology room was opened, Slippy was standing in the door way."Find the warp machine with your home symbol on it and step inside! once inside, press the green button that will be to your right! And I will press the main button so send you home! Better say any more goodbyes now!" Someone better not ask him how the warp machines works.. After a good 20minutes, Slippy stood at his console, the monitor on it had shown all of the warp machines were displayed in red or green dots in rows. Of course red meant no, Green meant go. Once they had all been lit, Slippy had yelled goodbye before pressing the yellow button to send everyone home.

Suddenly the lab had blazed blue light, the crackling sound of static electricity engulfed the warp machines. The Brothers inside convulsed, they rattled vigorously with the feeling of their ears stinging and splattering the interior with blood.
Screams were cried out in vain as the light of the warp machines grew more intense and white, until suddenly the light exploded and in a flash everyone was gone. The machines were blackened, steam and smoke coming from their tops, they looked cooked.
"WHAT THE FUCK?! SLIPPY!!" Fox shrieked as he was scared shitless. Fox had looked at the destruction, his ears dropping hopelessly.
"...You.. YOU KILLED THEM ALL!?" He pulled at his ears in terror, his tail ruffled. Slippy coughed and crawled out from the bottom of a desk.
"what the hell is wrong with you!? This is what I get for leaving you alone with this kind of shit! YOUR SUPPOSE TO BE THE TECH GUY!!"
Slippy coughed out a few black puffs of smoke before standing and finally commenting;"Sonnuva bitch!"

Cold air touched the face and calm wind brought feeling to the body. This was a good indicator that death had not yet come. Ears pulsating and bleeding, damn machine, damn slippy.
The sky was a deep blue and the world seemed to be at sleep. Sitting up, lights from a castle could be seen far off in the distance. Anyone in the world could recognize it. It was mushroom castle! Mushroom kingdom should be near! Mario! Peach! Luigi!

Floating in light, fluffy grey-blue clouds the stars looked so close it was hard not to reach out and try to touch them.
The large cloud seemed as if it was a water bed and it was weird that anyone would really even be floating on top of them. Wouldn't it be sensible to be falling straight through? The landing did seem a lot more softer, as the back wasn't too sore. Although the only thing really alarming was the fact that the ears would not cease to ring as dried blood trailed down the ear lobe and the neck. Looking around there was nothing but more clouds and stars. Looking down might be a bad idea.

“This… Sucks…” Link rolled onto his side, and promptly vomited. His inner ear was damaged, probably a relapse of the damage caused by Majora’s Mask in his childhood. The shrill sound had caused a tear in his eardrum, which had later gotten infected. Now all of that was just a distant memory, but the damage just made the recent injuries all the more potent. He braced himself and stood carefully.

The grass and trees didn’t look like Hyrule’s standard fare, but he recognized one of them. A multitude of fruits, in various colors, stood out under a canopy of leaves woven nearly solid together. Strange, reptilian birds bounced lightly in the treetops, trapping low-flying insects with long barbed tongues. Yoshi hatchlings, ravenous and violent but almost totally defenseless and intelligent enough to accept help from things too big to eat.

He took inventory. First off, his most valuable possessions… He looked into his hat, carefully removing an unconscious Navi. She would be fine, just stunned by the chaos of the transporter. He had fought hard to find his friend, and she had saved him many times in return. Next up, a shard of some strange, dark substance. Midna had assured him it was just a souvenir of his time in the Twilight, no magic. Just a rare gem. Still, it did hold great deal of sentimental value. He checked through his remaining valuables. Twenty rupees lined the edge, a fallback in case anyone nicked his pouch.

Now for the weapons, not as sentimental, perhaps, but far more useful. His bow was unharmed, thankfully. He could still hunt for food, maybe shoot down an apple later. There were only 10 arrows left, the rest used in battle back at the Smash Arena. He had one bomb, but no flint. His lantern had spilled across the ground, fortunately downhill from him, leaving him dry. His boomerang, a hurricane in the palm of his hand, expanded from his pocket.

Navi had long ago entrusted him with a small pouch full of magic dust, which had come in handy for transforming enemies into valuable objects. Since then, the pouch had run empty but still contained enough magic to store any object regardless of size. It was rather convenient, considering all the weapons he often had to carry. A hole at the bottom of the sack indicated that the remainder of his weapons had managed to fall out along the way. His sword, a perfectly formed tamahagane blade he had ordered, stood proudly embedded in a fallen tree trunk a few feet away. The design was his own, but it loosely resembled the Master Sword he had once grown so comfortable with.

He picked it up and placed it reverently in the scabbard. This was going to be a long journey with most of his tools missing, but he would find the pipe in this world that his brother Mario took to the Smash Brothers HQ. He would find a way home…

A slight tinging noise rang through the area as the slight sound of someone in distress came closer and closer towards Link. "Someone put something in my wayyyyyyyyyyyYYYY!!!!" The young Pokèmon Master screamed as he landed on the grass with a large thud, right next to one of his allies during the Brawl. He slowly made it to his feet and dusted off his clothes, before looking around for one single thing... "WHERE'S MY HAT AND BACKPACK!?!?!" The Pokèmon Master yelled as he started to look around, before another slight tinging noise was heard, his backpack and hat slamming him down to the ground. The Pokèmon Master twitched his foot and simply gazed at his backpack, before quickly putting on his hat and rummaging through his personal belongings. There were Revives ready, for when he needed to bring back his Pokèmon from fainting, Potions of all varieties to heal them when it was needed, Berries for the Pokèmon to either munch on, or recover from status problems, his Pokèdex, used for recording all of the Pokèmon's data he had collected over his years of travel, and, not to forget, his six prized Pokèmon, he immediately took out each Pokèball and threw them to the ground, hoping that the programming of such a device didn't malfunction on the collision.

The Pokèball's slowly began to open, sending out a polyphonic tune as white energy spewed out of each individual ball, the first that collided to the ground, shown a large, furry figure with two small tendrils sticking out from it's head, as soon as the white energy had cleared, there stood the Pokèmon Master's prized Pokèmon, Electivire. The second seemed to change into the form of a large land based Alligator, which seemed to stand on two legs, as soon as the energy had cleared, it was shown to be his second in command, Feraligatr. The third ball hit the dround with a large thud as the grass around it slowly turned to ash, when it had opened, a large bulbus figure that seemed to be engulfed in flame stood before him, and as soon as the energy cleared, it was replaced by a heated aura, his Magmortar. The fourth ball that fell to the ground fell with a fine elegance and grace as it slowly opened up, revealing some type of feline cross between a wolf form, as soon as the energy had cleared, it revealed the Pokèmon used to keep his cool within battles, Glaceon. The fifth ball fell to the floor with a large thud, leaving a large dent in the ground, and as the white energy began to take form, the Pokèmon Master grinned, the energy began to take the form of a simple man, but one with the wierdest hairstyle ever, and an extra pair of arms, as soon as the energy had cleared, it shown the Pokèmon used for the physical labour of the team, Machamp. The last of his Pokèball's hit the floor fairly swiftly, as the energy came out revealing a large, unidentifiable shape, but to the elite Pokèmon trainers, and Pokèmon watchers all around, they knew it as Scizor, but the Pokèmon Master simply knew it as his own personal assassin. The Pokèmon cried out in happiness to see their master as the Pokèmon Master looked over to Link.

"Y'know.... You almost had me in that Brawl... If I hadn't of switched Pokèmon, you would of won for sure.... But alas, the time ran out, so I still await that rematch. The Pokèmon Master grinned and looked around the area, before returning all of his Pokèmon except for Electivire. "So, any idea where we are?"

Link watched with some small amusement as his friend toppled into the clearing. Clearly he wasn't the only one experiencing technical difficulties... He worried about the other contestants. It would have to be a really bad problem to stop any of them for long, but then again the worlds were full of dangerous places.

"We're in the Mushroom Kingdom. We're headed that way, to hope Mario, Yoshi, Bowser and the Princess got back to their own world in one piece." Link pointed towards the castle, old but constantly maintained in good condition. The sun shone dimly over the back, casting the castle into a shadowy profile. There was the turret he had cornered Feraligatr on.... Then the opponents had switched out, and Scyther had flown up and over. He was still dueling with Scyther's fierce blades when time had been called.

A low, repeated thumping noise was dampened and muffled by the surrounding forest. Link's instincts kicked in, telling him something was off. He drew his sword, but decided to hold off on starting anything. His ears where still in question, and it could just be an animal...

The Pokèmon Master looked towards the small clearing where the noise seemed to be coming from, shaking a little bit in fear at the alarming volume of the noise as it drew closer and closer to both he, Electivire and Link. "E...Electivire, c-check it out..." The Pokèmon Master pointed towards the clearing, watching as his Electivire nodded in agreement and walked into the clearing, his bulky, large figure slowly disappearing as he entered the clearing. A couple of thunderbolts echoed through the area as Electivire ran out of the clearing.

The Pokèmon Master stared in shock as his knees started shaking. "Alright... Just what the heck is in there?!?"

(I apologize for the fairly short post, I am all RP'ed out...)

Link thought of his unusable bomb ruefully. The sound was getting louder, and now sounded like massive footsteps echoing through the damp woods. He pulled his bow out, sticking his sword into the ground lightly for easy access. He would shoot first, then decide whether to pick up the sword and run or to drop the bow and rush in with the blade to finish the beast.

"I told you I was coming back you insolent little shits! Take over my castle, will you?" A familiar voice screamed angrily, and was followed closely by a draconic roar of rage.

"Run, run! He's back! Run!" Small, pathetically scared voices approached, nearer than Link had expected. Bowser's voice and footsteps had overpowered the small screams of the fleeing mob.

"Get back here you fungal fools! I'll step on you all!" The first of the screeching Goombas raced out of the treeline, and swarmed to their right, racing away from Link and the Pokemon Master. They stuck close to the edge of the woods, trying not to stray into the clearing where even less than small saplings would stand between them and the raging Koopa King. Link put away his bow unhurriedly. The Goombas where too busy running to bother with them, and Bowser was a friend despite his common attempts to seize control of the Mushroom Kingdom.

The Goomba herd, rarely brave enough to do anything by themselves, was quite large. There had clearly been a mass revolt, probably most of Bowser's Goomba army, and they now formed a rather large convoy as they fled. Bowser's voice seemed a long way off yet, and the parasitic goons continued to pour from the trees and turn back into the forest at the other end of the hollow.

"well k'mon.. we got to go get you help!" Sonic walked a little ways away.
"...but there is nothing here! we're alone.." Zelda crossed her arms, bracing against a chilling wind.
"Hhmm.. We need to travel around a lot faster then just walking.. but how?"
"What do you mean how? Your sonic.." Zelda slowly walked to Sonic.
"Yeah but I can only carry 13 year old girls while im running sooo.." He turned around, looking up at Zelda.
"your a bit too old n' heavy."
"...." Zelda could react, only glare.
"..What..?" Sonic was clueless.
Zelda sighed and walked passed sonic, still trying keep warm but eventually she had to bring out her left hand.
She looked at the back of her hand, watching it to see if the Triforce would show.
Zelda saw nothing. Even holding out and searching the space around her, the Triforce would not show. She sighed again, hopeless.
"I don't sense Link anywhere.. He was in the machine right next to me.. Couldn't he be around here somewhere..?"
Zelda retracted her hand, shivering.
"..Well.. I wasn't any were near you.." Sonic came up from behind.
"Maybe it was random. What if it was just chance? You could've been left all alone you know.." For once, He had said something intelligent.
"Maybe your right.." Zelda agreed, defeated.
"Aaaww, don't be so sad..! The green sword guy'll be just fine!" Sonic tugged on Zelda's dress lightly.
"I mean! come on! something like this? It's a cake walk for our hero's! plus, they'll have each other!" Sonic continued, smirking and pulling his hand into a fist to emphasize his point.
Zelda had to smile back, she ruffled Sonic's ears.
"your cute for a cocky sonnuva bitch.."

The Pokèmon Master stood beside a tree, he had finally regained his cool, but Electivire still remained shaken. "So I take it Bowser is gonna help us get to the Mushroom Kingdom, just so we can see if everyone else is alright?" The Pokèmon Master smiled as he took out one of his pokè balls, sending Electivire back in, and sending out Feraligatr. "RRRRRGATOR!!!" The Pokèmon Master's Feraligatr yelled as he stepped out onto the surface, staring into the clearing... Awaiting for his long rivaled foe to step out and face him... Feraligatr had hated Bowser ever since the Pokèmon Master and he faced off, watching his every move and defeating it, Bowser pulled a fast one and got in a couple of great hits.

Feraligatr couldn't wait anymore as he charged into the clearing, picking up Bowser with ease and throwing him right before Link and the Pokèmon Master. Feraligatr emerged from the clearing, dusting off his claws as he got into the battle position.

Mario was scaling hills, running through koopas and jumping past petey piranhas. A toad scoutman said that he had spotted a herd of goombas and an' Bowser.
With his mustache ruffled, his eyes narrowed angrily as he was coming to the woods.
"Bowser!!" Mario bellowed before breaking into the forest, perhaps more angry then the great koopa king.
As he made it into the clearing, Mario skidded to a halt, his hands tightly held in fists.
"Where is'a Peach!? You'a better not have'a taken her!" Mario crossed his arms, seemingly unaware of Link and The pokemon master with his pokemon.
"Then'again! I shouldn't be surprised that you would'a swipe her amidst the confusion!"

Sonic and Zelda were calmly and slowly jumping across clouds, which was making Sonic impatient.
"If only I had all of the Chaos emeralds, We would be safely on the ground in now time..! " Sonic had to look down from a cloud to see the silent world below.
" I wouldn't waste the power of the Emeralds for something like that.." Zelda kept on checking her left hand to see if the triforce had resonated, as if she was OSD.
"hhmm... what about Chaos control!?" Sonic stopped walking, snapping his fingers.
"...Chaos control?"
"yeh! we'll jump down, and right before we hit the ground i'll use my chaos control to land safely!"
".. I don't feel to comfortable with that.." Zelda frowned before looking over her shoulder, she thought she'd heard something.
"OOoh Come on!! This doesn't even make SENSE!! WE'RE WALKING ON CLOUDS!!" Sonic rolled his eyes, and stomped on the cloud he was on, making a hole in it quite easily.
"Woah!!.. aagh! " Sonic's foot fell through and with hands and a knee bracing himself up, he had to be careful not to push too hard on the cloud or he will fall through.
"..I need some help here! .. Zelda?" Sonic tried to look behind him.

Zelda was frozen, having a light blue arrow at her throat, there was nothing she could do.
"What are you doing prowling around?! You don't have permission!" Pit kept his light arrows at Zelda.
Zelda remained stoic, and stern, looking over pit to see that his wings were missing some feathers, and his ears were reddened from the stain of blood.
"We had just landed here.. we had no control! you know that..!" She growled at Pit, who let down his arrows.
"Im sorry, Im a little on edge because of my damn headache.." Pit dissipated his arrows back into a ring on his wrist.
"Hullo?! HALP!" Sonic had to raise his voice in a panic, his hands and knee were sinking into the cloud.
"oh..!" Zelda turned suddenly, but Pit had beat her to Sonic. Pit had slung his arm under Sonic's stomach and pulled him up.
"Thanks!" Sonic gave a sigh of relief.
"Come on, you two can come back to my place." Pit had looked to be in a better mood.
"I thought we had to have 'permission'?" Zelda stepped cautiously around Sonic's cloud holes.
"Nah, it's cool."

"So, Bowser and Mario got back, Yoshi is unaccounted for and the Princess is missing." Link twisted the black bangle on his wrist around idly, causing an eerie glow to emit from the patterns around the edges. He grabbed Bowser by the arm and easily hoisted him off the ground, setting him upright.

"I think our first course of action is to find out what happened to the others after they left the arena. It's not likely that anyone was seriously injured, but none of us is very familiar with the dangers of the other worlds. The longer we remain dislocated, the greater the chance that we loose a brother from this."

Link winced as his ear started ringing again, but quickly recognized the tone. He lifted the brim of his hat, and Navi fluttered out uncertainly. "This isn't Hyrule... Hey, Link! What did Slippy do this time?"

Meanwhile, Fox and Slippy have been working on the main console for the warp machines.
It was totally fired, wires had to be replaced, the memory was wiped across the floor, (literally)
and the frame had to be replaced due to lots of cracks and the back cover being blown out.
Fox was still pretty angry, and rightfully so.
"Jesus, Slippy I give you ONE simple task! one! An' you screw it up!"
"But I did what you said! Besides, I don't remember putting a freakin' self destruct button on there! WHO in the right mind would do that, IN A FREAKIN' LAB, LOADED WITH EXPLOSIVES AND ELECTRONIC DEVICES! SERIOUSLY! Fox it wasn't me!"
Fox had a dirty face, blotched with grease, grime and dirt. He sat back,clapping his hand to his forehead only to pull it back to realize he had just stamped a dirty hand print to half of his face.
"what'r we going to do..? .. We don't have the trackers on everyone, so we can't see where they are.. We took those back already.."
"Hhhmmm.. well what about the cameras on the stages? We havn't taken those off yet!"
Slippy's eyes gleamed.
"Ooohh..hmm.. Maybe your right! We might be able to use those!" Fox sprang up, new hope beating in his heart.
"To the showers!" Fox said to himself, making his way for the entrance.
"Whu?! the showers? we don't have cameras there! " Slippy had followed Fox.
But Fox had stopped abruptly. "WELL! .. I mean.. just one.."
"what? What do you mean jus' ONE?!"
" 'EY! somebody has' ta watch the princesses 'cause Mario n' Link do a shitty job!"

The Pokèmon Master grinned as he watched Link pick up Bowser with ease, and chuckled as he watched Navi fluttered out of it. He remembered back in the Smash Tournament when Feraligatr believed Navi was floating food, just dangling right in front of it's mouth. That's when his eyes darted open completely, forgetting that Feraligatr was right next to him. His head slowly turned as he looked at his Feraligatr, eyeing Navi. "Phew... Well at least he isn't trying to make her food anymo--" The Pokèmon Master stopped thinking to himself as he watched his Feraligatr lick his lips in enticement. He glared at his alligator-like pokèmon as he quickly returned it. "Link... Remember what I told you after that match? If you want to keep that little.... Floaty thing of yours... Don't have it out while Feraligatr is out.... He gets hungry when he see's shiny things..." The Pokèmon Master let out a hearty laugh as he withdrew his third pokèball, containing his Magmortar.

"MMMMMORTAR!" Magmortar seemed to flex as soon as he exited the pokèball, glaring at Bowser, and remembering the fiery battle they both shared, resulting in many burns for both of them, and even a few chips in some of the more important areas they needed for either defence or attacking. "Easy Mags.... He doesn't deserve your time.... Remember?"

Link did indeed recall the attempt on his friends life, along with the rather sudden decision that he didn't like that particular monster. This feeling was only reinforced by the need to withdraw Feraligatr when she started to observe Navi rather closely.
"Navi, good to see you back up. We've managed to land just outside the Mushroom Kingdom, and not a pleasant landing at that." He turned back towards the Pokemon Master. "Hey, I told you Navi can take care of herself. She's survived hanging around me all this time, it's not like she hasn't had things try to eat her before..." Link didn't add that most of those things had been long since killed. Like-likes had been nearly exterminated in the lands surrounding Hyrule, thanks to his policy of feeding them the Goron's special 'Powder Keg' class explosives. All it took was a little syrup on the bottom of the barrel and they'd eat the whole thing in one bite.

"Mario, calm down. It's not Bowser this time, or at least I don't think so. Someone screwed up the transports, Peach is probably not even back in the Mushroom Kingdom. We need supplies, and a way back to Smash HQ to find out what went wrong. Best place I know of is the Mushroom Kingdom proper. You want to find Peach, you should come with us."

Zelda and Sonic followed Pit into his quarters, the inside reminded Zelda much of the interior in her old castle. She'd brush her finger tips on one of the stone walls. So cold.
"woow" Sonic was looking around like a kid going to the mall for the first time.
"It's kinda dark in here.. why not set up some lamps?" Sonic said as he held onto Zelda's dress.
Pit said nothing as he walked around what looked like a bird bath with water in it.
"I've been watching out for you guys." Pit looked down at the water, showing a picture of an' infuriated Mario, with the Pokemon master, Bowser and Link.
"Looks like Princess Peach is missing again.." he added.
"Princess peach..? " Zelda looked over the crystal-ball like water.
Sonic had to climb up on Zelda's back and look over her shoulder.
"oh wow! cool bird bath!"
"And Link is there too!" Zelda was glad he was okay
"Why'r you so worked up about that? Link can take care of himself im sure." Pit looked at Zelda, unamused.
"Well if Link dies then I can't let Gannondorf get Link's piece of the Triforce.. That would doom us all."
"Oh so heaven forbid, Link dies you worry about the Triforce?" Pit teased.
"Oh well when you put it that way-!"
"Way to make yourself seem like a bitch, Zelda goodjob." Sonic patted Zelda on the shoulder.
