Yep, magic, kinda like elemental stuff. Ya know, fire, ice, water, earth, whatever.

Two cities?

Sorry for the double post, but I really wanna do this soon.

You are going to have to forgive my lack of attention to the sit.e Been trying to focus on school. Give me next week and I will try to think of a plot. You too.

Basic Plot:

The world has always been strange but we still call it our home. But in these modern times we forgot the meaning of life and what we as humans are capable of. However there is a story that must be presented to the modern folk because it did not happen too long ago. It shows what a few seemingly young people were capable of even when other humans had forgotten magic. This tale takes place in the mid 1970's Osaka, Japan. (not all the cultists were Japanese.) These five young people were taught within a cult. They practiced elemental magic. Each one of these young cult members mastered in one elemental power. The elements they mastered were wind, fire, earth, water and spirit (healing and resurrection). These young folk consist of two girls who control wind and earth, and three young men who wield water, fire and spirit. The reason they and the cult existed was to keep a great power contained. But in the end it broke free somehow...

Wind

Name: Kohana Miyako (Kohana means 'little flower')
Nicknamed- Hana
Age: 17 (in last year of high school)
Nationality: Japanese
Element: Wind- She can manipulate the wind's currents to her command. Another thing she can do is lift up her hand and blow a strong gust of wind with great force. With a Katana she has the ability to slice the air and send a deadly wind at her target. On occasion she can create a dust devil that is stronger and bigger, causing more damage. In other words she almost has full control over the wind.
Appearance: Kohana
Personality: She is a cheerful and positive teenager who looks upon life as a flow. Determined to succeed in life and make sure not to bring shame upon her family. With this positive outlook on life she never loses control of her element. The downside she never knows when to give up so she will keep at it until she is unable to walk. Which makes her stubborn. She is also quite impatient and likes to take the lead even if she is one of the youngest.
Biography: Kohana is the daughter of a former Priestess, who was also one of the founders of the cult. Her father was a famous businessman named Miyako, Hiroshi. He met her mother,YokoTanaka when she just became a priestess. They fell in love and with Yoko's bit of knowledge of magic left her training and married Hiroshi. Once her daughter was born she and other priest and priestesses worked alongside the church to form the secret cult. It was not until Kohana was five did they find out she could control wind. It was one day randomly when Kohana was playing in the garden with what seemed like wind twirling her around with such speed. That was how she became a member of the cult.

Now she is a young adult. She attends a normal high school with childhood friends. She carries this secret around with her. She knows once she is out of high school she will not attend university because she plans to follow in her mother's footsteps.

Earth
Name: Frieda Collins
nicknamed: Punk
Age: 21
Nationality: American (Quarter French/ quarter English)
Element: Earth- She can make the earth shake and any other means of controlling the ground and earth itself.
Appearance: Frieda
Personality: She is a more neutral and strangely mothering type. Despite being labelled a punk because of her taste in music and clothing, she is calm and collected. Her cool demeanor makes her seem antisocial. When in truth she is just honest, sweet, and hates confrontations. The negative thing about her is that impatient and sarcastic.
Biography: She was born and raised in Chicago, but her mother a diner waitress finally left the hardass husband and took her daughter to San Franscico, California to live with her parents. She was raised in a decent atmosphere, away from the more severe dangers that cities held. Her mother finally got a promising job after finishing her college degree. They moved to Japan because there was an English teaching job in a local elementary school. (At this time she was fifteen.) With everything turning around for her mother and an actual life accepting her as her even in her punkish attitude. Her elemental power appeared later in life. The cult discovered this outcast child and her strange ability to make the earth shake and raise pieces of the ground in the air. They took her in and somehow manage to get her mother to let her remain with them

Name: Claudio Navarro
Nickname: "Claud"
Age: 20
Nationality: Puerto Rican
Element: Water - The ability to control the ebb and flow of water, to summon water sprites - small goblin like creatures that do his bidding. He can also create tidal waves and whirlpools, controlling their movement, intensity and size.

Personality: A quiet man, Claudio didn't talk much, but when he did, it was full of meaning, and usually completely accurate. Shy by nature, despite his large, muscular build and crazy frizzy hair, he has few friends, apart from those made in the cult. A strongly religious man also.

Biography: Claudio was born into a religious family in a small town in Puerto Rico, and lived a fairly normal childhood, He was never normally shy, often finding himself very outspoken in school, and this would often get him in trouble with teachers. It was this outspoken attitude that led him to discover his elemental ability. He was sent from a class for arguing with the teacher, and had to sit outside. When he was sat there, he noticed a puddle on the floor by a water fountain. Thinking nothing more of it, he sat and sulked. The water began to move towards him, climbing the chair and making its way to his hands. He was understandably freaked out by this, and tried to get the water off. In doing so, it shot a stream of water at a wall, chipping a bit of plaster from it. Confused, Claudio ran from school, seeking solace in his local church. The priest was already aware of his ability, and calmly spoke to the boy about it. Since that day, he has been schooled and grown at the cult's HQ in Japan, and taught how to use his powers, how to control them.



Name: David Scharner
Nickname: Pyro
Age: 22
Nationality: English
Element: Fire - Controls fire, can conjure flames in his hands, creating fireballs. Can heat a room just by thinking it. By training he has learned to use fire for all of his needs.

Personality: David is the polar opposite of Claudio, outspoken and loud, but not ill-tempered or aggressive. He is an approachable, friendly man with a pleasant disposition. Will defend his friends lives with his own, he is incredibly loyal.

Biography: Never one for school, David played truant for most of his school life. What he lacked in education he made up for in wit and personality. Completely agnostic, he initially refused to go to church as a boy. Once eventually persuaded, he discovered his ability while attending mass. He was bored, and his attention was drawn to an unusually flickering candle. Staring at it, it seemed like it was dancing for him. When he stood up at the end of mass, the flame doubled in height. He was drawn to it, and as if instinctively, he put his finger out, and the flame jumped out onto it, as though it was a pet. It didn't hurt him. He was equally surprised and intrigued, and begun to play with it. It was then that the priest at the church saw him, and promptly arranged for him to attend the Cult's HQ. Still problematic as an adult, he never settled down to learn academically, but he did advance his training with fire to a high level.

Name: Naoko Suzuki
Nickname: Ghost or “pretty boy” (Puriti-kun)
Age: 23
Nationality: Japanese
Element: Spirit- He is the spiritual/physical healer. Has the ability to teleport within a 7 mile radius. He can also astro project anywhere he wants, leaving his body behind.
Appearance: Naoko
Personality: He is pessimist about life in general, but he will give his all to help anyone in need. He has a strong will and very intelligent. Though he is negative he has more patience compared to the other and quite passionate about the Cult.
Biography: Naoko was born in Tokyo, a grand, busy city. His mother raised him alone because her husband left them when he was only three years of age. He has a half sister, named Miyoko. Watching his mother suffer he learned that life is half-empty. He discovered his abilities when he was about ten. Kohana's mother was the one who found him and told him about the cult. He went with her and over time began to slowly change, using his ability to heal people and wanting to push the cult and the
Church forward into a safe future.
