The Singer's Duet (Mature - Alex and Lady J)

Ffari'rett, the mobile capitol city of the Mytrillin race, home of the prishka, the “elected” leader of the civilized Mytrillin. In years past the city would have been moved with the herds and rains... but that was before the second prishka created a treaty with the humans, the other civilized races following suit, soon after. Now, the fifth prishka of the Mytrillin had actually started building permanent buildings, with the help of dwarven knowledge of underground lakes and streams that provided the sun parched land life giving water. The majority of the city was still tents, but now with the establishment of permanent wells, brick and mortar buildings were slowly helping to expand the city.

In the red-tent, or lower born, district of the city, the entertainers, and street women were already out, the setting sun turning the sandy plains gold and ruby. Outside one of the very few permanent buildings, in the red-tent district, a young half-kin woman leaned near the corner of the newly made Sand-Cat Tavern. She wore both the ribbons of the entertainers, and the tight, showy clothes of a street woman. She was playing a kora, the strange harp-lute's strings dancing with her touch, sometimes matching another entertainer's song, but mostly just following her own wondering mind.

The half-Mytrillin was striking, to anyone's standards, her large golden eyes were mostly closed, looking through heavy lashes. Her skin was covered in a fine down of fur, making her skin look golden tan, while her long blonde hair hung in a loose braid, ribbons of ruby red braided throughout. A soft, kittenish smile was on her heart-shaped face, her high cheek bones, and her large pointed and slanted ears showed she was half elf.

The woman's thin tail twined behind her, her low skirt accenting her thin waist and curved, child-bearing hips, the brown, red, and black material seeming to glow in the setting sun. The gauzy material of her top did hardly anything to hide her small breasts. The “top” almost looked more like a shawl, that wrapped around her neck, and draped over her breasts before being tied in the back, exposing her trim stomach. Compared to some of the clothes other street women wore, she was quite daring... but still others she was almost decent.. but those women were more desperate then she.. and if she didn't get a man in her bed for the night, she wasn't too bothered... She was simply looking for some excitement...

The wind that traveled thought the sands of the desert as it merged into the plains. The sounds from the capitol city got louder and louder as his boots knocked against the dirt. The sun reflected off the blade of his sword, which hung on his back. The plains reflecting against the deep green of his eyes. A cloth wrap sat snug around his head, hiding his dark auburn hair. His dark yellow fur, stained with dust and dirt from his travels. His eyes still were as clear as anything, and his sword carried the deep red stains of blood still on the blade. This was the blood of a rabbit, and a few bandits that gave him trouble on his travels, and he gave them the trouble right back. Angleo looked up toward the sun and smiling at the thought of all the ladies inside the capitol city, excited for all the Mytrillins waiting for him to be their one and only mate for the night. He snickered at the thought and quickened his pace a little in excitement. He began thinking to himself what he should do when he gets into town, a shower being first on his list.

After about an hour more of walking the doors to the city began to come into view. This gave Angleo the final push to make sure he made it into the town with plenty of time to peruse inside the town looking for the best mate tonight. As he entered into brick wall separating the city from the wilds outside, the multitude of colorful tents came into view, as well as the hustle and bustle of the town. His eyes began searching the crowds looking at all the women that inhabited the city. He first set his sights on one of the few true buildings that inhabited the city, The Cat's Prowl. This inn sat in the beginning of the city, it may not be the best place to stay, but it well good enough for him to have a place for the night. After Angleo had his room for the night he decided to leave the inn in search of a mate.

He walked thought the rich tents of the city, looking at all the women that happened to catch his eye. Approaching some getting there names, and getting them all flustered. Those weren't the fun sport to him, they gave in to easy to his charm. There was no chase, no fight, the hunt was what he craved from them. Getting ignored, or told no. Those were the ones he liked to work at. His travels led him thought the high born districts, all the snobs and stuck up whores traveled through the streets. The women may be thin and dressed up, but no matter how pretty you make a parasite, doesn't make it not want to drain the life from you. The Middle born followed suit. Now having the more muscular builds, girls that have truly seen action themselves. These women fell more in his range of search, girls with bodies strong enough to take the job that he gets them to agree into, many times with the voice to follow suit. Although today isn't the day he found something that truly caught his eye over anything else. It wasn't until he was walking toward the poorer side of town did he notice a true beauty that sat playing a Kora in the light of the setting sun. The golden tint to her skin, the matching eyes the lay closed, her blonde braided hair hung down. It was there and then Angleo decided that this was the woman he set his sights on, and knew that he wont be told otherwise. He walked up to her while she played, and tried to get her attention, "Why hello my dear, what is a lovely lady like yourself doing back here, other then playing some of the most beautiful music in the land?"

The woman's kora continued its winding and playful songs, songs that seemed to describe the ribbon of sunlight still left, before being blanketed completely by the night sky. Song that praised the coming darkness and the fire light springing around her. Lamps fueled with dung were sweetened with desert plants, and the time for the street women to find their bed fellows was now. But the half-Mytrillin, Sulwyn was lost within her songs.

Many a lust, or “love”struck suitor came up, to try to draw her attention away from her songs. Some prattled on and on about their deeds and why she should bed them for free. Others tried to wave their money in her face, to get her attention.. One impatient fool grabbed her kora from her hands, only to end up on the ground covering his groin, his face pale even under black fur as he whimpered in pain. Sulwyn then went back to playing as the fool's friends dragged him away to the healer, saying not a word.

The sky was awash in purples and golds, as the sun took set marking the end of the day. Sulwyn was still entwined with her music when the scent of dust, sweat, and blood made her open her eyes a bit. The foxkin was clearly a stranger to her, and he moved with one with a purpose... But watching him move towards her, she could scent that purpose... as could any other whore in the city. She shrugged to her-self, continuing to play her songs, her fingers dancing, flowing, and leaping over her kora's strings. She ignored his questions, as he tried to draw her attention, the music she played more interesting, and important, at the moment, then the sweaty foxkin in front of her.

The colors in the sky helped draw one of the most gorgeous nights that one could ever hope to catch sight of, but even with the sun dancing gracefully over the horizon making the sky light up in a enticing display of the words colors at their finest. Even though there was this beauty in the sky, no matter how great it was Angleo wouldn't have anything to do with it, for his eyes had alright fixated at the beauty playing the simple instrument in an extraordinary fashion. His night as he thought could go anyway he wanted tonight, and after seeing this beauty he would even be okay with having to wait to get this girl longer then he has ever waited to get anyone, for he feels like this young woman is the chase that he has looked for across the lands.

Angleo shifted his attention back to the young woman that stood before him, now intrigued by spunk, and curious to see about her true colors. He was a little annoyed that the woman snuffed him, but the music kept him calm, and also for he saw the spark of an interest on her part as he approached her. It may have been apparent that his original search was to obtain a mate for the night, but now something had intrigued him beyond that original search, and the young woman stood right in front of his eyes. This was one challenge that he enjoyed and the hunt was on for this girl, and he would do everything he could think of to get her.

"Well my simple beauty no matter your rude actions for not replying to such a simple question, you have gained some company, and believe me when I say that you won't have much luck changing that, for I tend to be stubborn when I choose to be." Angleo grabbed a small log, round enoght for him to sit comfortably one and reclined back against his sword, which he placed in the ground as a back support. He put his hands behind his head and sat happily listening to the music and waiting for another action from his fixation.
