Poorly described Game Guessing!

The aim is simple... Think of a game, it could be a game you are currently playing, a game you have recently played, a game from your collection, or one of your old favourite games... Try not to go too deep into the plot, or mention any names at all.

First One:

Okay, so there's this guy, right... And he is pretty damn powerful... He's a part of some sort of prophecy, and he carries around a couple of weapons and goes everywhere and talks with huge things and helps them, which help him go to new places, and then, he gets to help out a friend by bringing him things from bosses that are just as powerful as him, and then he gets some new weapons that help him out on his way, and then yeah... He kills alot of monsters.

First person to get it, gets to make their own one.

Okay, so there's this guy going around killing people. And there's all this freaky stuff happening. Oh, and that killer? Your character lives inside his mother.

Gonna add a rule, seeing as how it's been way too long since anyone has posted... The rule is you are allowed to answer simple yes/no questions.

It is not. You may be able to play it on one some way, however.

Yes it is. And I had to do math to answer that. D: I am so embarrassed. I even had to pull out a calculator!

it does not begin with those latters, and it was not released in that time period

nope and nope. it was released on more then one system

Well if it's in the last quarter of the alphabet, since a quarter is 6.5 and the last 6 letters are UVWXYZ and it's not the last three letters it rules out XYZ and leaves UVW along with the .5 Which we could extend to be T. So yeah, it has to be one of those letters that it starts with otherwise your calculations suck.

And was it released in the 80s?

... well crap. i miscounted then. and it wasn't released in the 80's.

Was this game also known to be a well known arcade game?

The game itself was never an arcade machine, if that's what you're asking.
