I figured this should come from me, considering I'm the owner of the site and all that jazz. In a month I've seen a beautiful change around in the site. It wasn't the lack of posting guys. I understand lulls, and people not posting. There was a lot of drama and bullshit going on behind the scenes, and I was done with it. Buuuut, under the brilliance and motivatingly awesome tutelage of Mike, Paradigm, and Lynn, the site's back to where it was originally supposed to be. This place isn't about drama, it's not about people begging for attention. It's about creativity, and people being able to come together without fear of being judged or manipulated, without worrying about being chastised because they aren't good enough. It's where someone who's never written before, but had a yearning to do so, can come to learn. The site is, from this point on, the property and responsibility of Mike, Para, and Lynn. I'm giving it to them fully (And what do ya'know? This is the first they're hearing about it. Surprise guys. ) Good luck with the future of the site, and don't forget...

I don't think we should get rid of it. Sometimes it's nice to be able to get on there. I'm surprised to hear you say that we should considering you used it a lot before it got closed. As long as the people using it are also posting elsewhere, I don't see a problem with it.

There's no sense in removing the off-topic.

It will be unlocked soon, and there will be a lot more control over the kind of stuff that is allowed in there.

Granted, I did use it numerous times before it closed, but you are also forgetting that I was the one that suggested it be locked in the first place.

Trust me, I don't forget anything. People are doing well on here, why should we punish them? Obviously, the Offtopic is popular so it would be a bad idea to close it without giving people a chance to use it and prove they won't abuse it, like it was before. I'll be keeping my eye on it, along with others, so there shouldn't be a problem.
