The DHRPG Cafe RP!

Ok ladies and gentlemen, I'm opening a cafe. This RP is a simple one, pretty much the same as the one in RPGFO, only it's ours.

You don't need a profile, or a character sheet, or anything like that, just turn up as you want! Just register your interest here, and I'll start one up in a day or two!

I'll take part, just know that came January, my posts may not be as frequent (I'm going back to school fulltime).

I'd like to join! ... My parents and I are moving either November 1st or December 1st so I may be a tad absent for a bit on one of those dates. We're leaning more towards December 1st though. So I would like to join, just a warning that I may disappear for a week or so on one of those dates... Also, not all of us came from RPGFO.. like me, so I really don't know how this cafe` thing would work. Is it modern, like humans or like the real us only written? or is it mystical where we can be demons, warlocks, witches, vampires, or werewolves?

Good questions. Mike? Lol. Since I'm not from there only, I'm just going to go with the flow for this one.

Ah, right, I should have explained that huh?

Basically, it's an RP centred around a cafe. People can come and go from it as they please, interacting with other people in the RP cafe, in context.

Here's a short example, obviously our actual posts would be much more detailed than this:

Barista is walking around cafe, taking peoples orders, generally chatting with them

Character walks into cafe, takes a seat, describing what they're seeing, the mood they're in etc, and barista comes over to serve them.

A variety of things can happen here, the story can take any one of a million different turns, depending on the characters and the stories they come in with. They could be followed in by someone who causes trouble, so the RP takes a turn and the character(s) and barista fight this person/people/monster/whatever until it is defeated.

That's just one of many different turns it can take. It's completely open ended.

Did you have a bartender in mind? You know Ka's manifest form of choice by now surely.

Give it until the first to see if anymore are going to partake. With Halloween coming up, many people are busy and aren't getting online.

Not a detailed one, just the basics will be fine.

I'll use Jade! Shes pretty simple for now... though I must make things more complex with her for my future RP's... I have plans for my beautiful vampire, big plans... ^_^ ... Mwahahah?? XD

It'll be jump in/jump out right? We can start it slow with who we have and continue hard recruiting till it picks up.

Yeah, that was the intention, it's going to be pretty leisurely until we get serious interest.

Cool. Got any parties set for the grande opening? I'd like to RSVP if at all possible.

Yeah, I really want to get started soon! This has a lot of chance to help the site out, and I'm still desperate for writing outlets.

If anyone wants to take over this, then feel free, I can't commit to it at the moment.

I may not be able to join immediately because my family and I are in the process of packing up and moving. I will try to be involved as much as possible.

There will be an IC soon Ka, I'm waiting on some graphics to make this thing start with a bang. I personally can't wait to get this started.
