Lynn's Blog Empty Global announcement:

Member Check-in!

This is a follow on from the email I sent (or will have sent) to all members, in response to the shocking lack of activity on the site over the past few weeks.

I want to get activity back to decent levels, whether that be in off-topic, in RPs or any other ways you can think of.

So this thread isn't really much else other than a roll call. There will be no chatting in this thread,

I just want one post each from members who intend to be active, and not just for a bit.

This site needs regular members posting regularly. Please don't...

So about a week and a half ago, I got fired from my job. Apparently, they are very unforgiving for my being pregnant. This was on Tuesday, the 31st of August. On Tuesday, the Seventh of September, I was offered a job. I started the next day. I'm pretty damn proud of myself. Smile I make less, but I'm getting a ton of more hours and I already have more responsibility, which is both good and bad. The really bad part about it is it's like a Convenient store that's crossed with an icecream parlor. I swear I'm going to gain...

Two months after my last blog and I'm back. My son is now almost three months and he's still a good baby. He's sleeping through the night, which is uncommon. He's getting so big. He's rolling over and wants to sit up. He truly is the joy to my existence, even when he doesn't want me on the computer, like right now.

After a nap, a feeding, two diapers and playtime I'm back. This child takes all my time, but I don't mind. I love spending my time with him. On the occasions that I need a break, he has plenty of aunts and uncles to look after him. Two of his aunts and one of his uncles are...

So a month ago I posted a blog bitching about being induced. I've obviously had the baby since then. Labor actually wasn't too bad. I went to the hospital and was sent home twice after the failed induction. Third time of going in was the charm and I was admitted. I had the baby twelve hours after I was admitted, and was in active labor for six hours. Not bad at all. I had an epidural, so I didn't feel any pain whatsoever. I labored in my legs, so I wasn't about to try doing it without something for the pain. Leg labor is uncommon. Less than ten percent of females go through it, and according to...

So everybody on here should know by now that I'm pregnant with Mallic's child. As I'm nine and a half months along (girls are pregnant for 40 weeks, not nine months as is a common misconception), it's a well known fact. Now most people on here know that I went earlier this week to be induced and to have our baby a little early. I've had a couple of complications, which aren't too bad, but do have the doctors wanting me to give birth a little earlier than normal. Well, obviously, the induction didn't work. Here's what happened.

Tuesday morning (6-8-10) Mallic heads over to sit with my...

I've been on maternity leave since yesterday, and I'm already bored. Just about everything is done, the only thing being left to do is go clean up my room a bit, but it's too hot in there so I'm putting it off until the evening time. In the meantime, I'm going to try catching up on some stories since there's nothing else pressing to do. Smile You would think there would be more to do around my house though. The end of the school year is coming up, so all these brats (I say that lovingly) should be busy getting everything...

So I'm pregnant, as everybody already knows. Most girls get weepy when they're pregnant. I don't. I get irritable. Something small will annoy me, something that I'd usually just find as an annoyance will piss me off. God forbid if something makes me cry cause I'm liable to really hurt something if that happens.

I have a month and a half left before the baby is supposed to be here, I'm very excited. Smile He's moving around a lot now. I feel him moving night and day, and while I love it, it can be painful...

You know, it really pisses me off when I go out of my way to help somebody, put a lot of effort to get them something and stick my own neck on the line for them, when they're just going to turn around throw it in my face. Why do people want to cause such drama? I've stuck up for this person, got into arguments for this person, done a shit ton for this person, and they are going to turn around and try causing drama in my life, giggling about it, when I'm not supposed to be stressed at all. And they know it. You know, I'm not really a violent person. But most people learned long ago not to fuck with...

It's been a couple weeks since I've been active due to horrid circumstances. But alas, I have my laptop in front of me again, and while nobody is online, I can still write some thoughts down for others to read. Granted, my head is normally a very confusing place to be, I should be able to get a few things out that are only mildly confusing to some. Well, here it is...

I think just about everybody here knows that I'm pregnant as the father is part of this community also, as well as an aunt and the godparents. So far the pregnancy is going good. I've had horrible symptoms, but the doctors...

...is not fun. It's almost five in the morning and I can't get tired enough to sleep. I wouldn't mind nearly so much if there was anybody even remotely worth mentioning awake to talk to. I have absolutely nothing to do. Now, I didn't mind being an insomniac while I was in school, because it would give me a reason to actually do my homework. I swear half the reason I made such great grades was that I was up doing homework all night. But, alas, I no longer have homework to worry about, at least not until next year when I start school again. So I must find some other way to occupy my brain. This thought...
