| This is going to be a place that I'll edit often, as much if the information will remain in this first post. Please feel free to comment on particular ideas or anything of the sort, I'd gladly accept any criticism as well.
This is just a rough template, for now.
Major Cities/Kingdoms
Carith - The first original kingdoms within the lands of Eruia. The First King resided in this once he united the people under one banner. The land was founded on freedom and protection of man and all races whom wished a chance at that freedom. Once the First King died, however, turmoil and that banner on which it was created has faded away, century aftery century.
Religion (Gods/Goddesses)
Notable People
Important Villages/Towns

| To keep things separated a bit better, this will be where all the characters to that the world will follow. Main Characters
Protagonists
Tyrius (Tyr) - Warmage/Wizard - Human - Tyrius is a young, blind, boy whom has resided up within the snowy mountains of (As of yet, unnamed). He weilds his father's blade Icestorm, which enhances the ice properties of his magic and as well will freeze or cool down whatever the blade strikes. His adventure is what starts the first story.
Cinen - Godslayer - Human - Him along with a group of friends slayed two demi-gods. His friends died during the battle, which left him with finishing the last demi-god himself. Now, he resides as a steward for the King of Carith. He forsaked his sword as well as all the vows he ever made with being a knight. He was cursed when killing the demi-gods with a new arm, an arm he lost during the battle, a metallic, arm. Pallir Paladin -Human/Chosen - - Spoiler:
Prince Ter'aenicus Pallir stood in the top room of the sanctury, the only one that went up so high. His deep blue eyes stared out from the colored paned glass, into the open yard below. He was of his early forties, with over half of his life served in the sanctury itself. The God's Light had shined upon him since he was a child and had quickly surpassed many that were even in the Lord's Light.
"Prince Pallir, Lady Koryal has left the sanctury," his squire's voice filled his ears.
Pallir did not take his eyes from the window. He had seen her leave and wondered what mission their Lord had sent her on this time. They always gotten their prayers from the Lord in what they should do. His eyes then focused on his reflection. The sharp cheek bone, slim face, but hardened after so many years of battle and service to his lord. What the Lord had granted him though, was a youthfulness even in such an older body. His bones, joints, and organs were as healthy as a well-fit twenty year old.
"I saw her leave, Rerik. Thank you," his voice was smooth and calm, but filled with strength.
Rerik bowed to Pallir, before leaving the room. Pallir closed his eyes then, gripping the holy symbol hanging by his neck and sent out a prayer for the Lord to watch over Koryal, but he did not know that the prayer would not reach her.
He turned then, looking across the room at the mail armor. He wore the linked mail shirt and leggings overtop of a leather jerkin and birches, which was then covered with robes. He never went without his one and half hand sword at his waist, though his shield remained against his suit of armor. He quickly left the room then, time for the devotion at the altar. Akarg - Shaman - Orkum -
Antagonists
Gricen - Warlock/Necromancer/Mage/Priest - Undead - Gricen gave everything he had for his power. His life and his soul. Now he is rotting, decaying beneath the very cycles of life. Becoming more of a lich than an undead, Gricen is seeking the one remedy to his being. Celestial blood. His goals, as well, however, is to set forth a disease that is so potent, even the gods would be affected.
- Spoiler:
Gricen set in front of a splayed out corpse. He had several nails holding the flaps of skin from the chest open, as well as the stomach. He ran a crooked knife along the smaller intestine, dark blood stained it the blade. He ran one of his own gruesome hands against the organs, his wilted flesh, some of it even hanging off at parts of his fingers, several bones exposed, before pulling them up to lick off that blood. His yellow pupils, surrounded by crimson stared at the corpse in front of him.
He then went methodically about removing the major organs and popping them into open jars beside of the body. The heart, liver, kidneys, spleen, gallbladder, and then went about removing the brain. He whispered a few arcane words then, sealing each jar in a stasis, so that the organs would persist well after the corpse would decompose. Placing those jars upon their appropriate shelves, along with several other organs from countless people. He gave a sickening grin them, some of his teeth were filed into fangs, while others had fallen out a long time before. His skin was paleish white with tears still hanging off. Wounds persisted upon his body, though no blood or disease would ever come from them.
"Paladinssss, do make sssuch a grreat trreat," he said with hisses in his voice. His lower jaw seemed dislocated against his other, causing his words to come out in such tones. A larger than normal, vile black tongue, always interuptted his speech in such tones as well.
He sent a mental note to Reevark, a demon that had pledge his servitude to Gricen himself, after Gricen freed him from the underworld. I've got a prressent for you, the hiss came out even in his mind. The double doors open to the study, a large dark blue demon walked in, morely glided along as there was no apparent feet. The thing was brutish with no apparent facial features, but arms that were larger than Gricen's waist and chest.
Reevark knew exactly what to do, its giant hands wrapped around places of the paladin's corpse and tore it away from the nails. Skin had ripped where the nails were. He had learned much through the insides of that paladin.
Gricen's made his way over to a large chair, which looked out a window into the fiery storm of the underworld. The tower was underground, or so it seemed. It pierced into the underworld itself, where Gricen had made a ready home. The top door, was hidden, by several ancient arcane tombs. Only Gricen knew the way out onto the surface from there. He looked upon the winged demons flying about, as well as the souls that were being tortured below. He could not hide the low hissing chuckle from his lips.
He was about to put a large hole in the society of paladin's once and for all upon the surface.

| This will be the section where all the races will be included and expanded upon further.
Races
Human -
Sha'Mira (Elves) - Translucent in skin. Their veins as well as their organs can be seen inside of their bodies. Their eyes are normally pure white, but sometimes have a red pupil. Their hair is often the purest of whites or the finest of blondes. Average in height, never taller than a human, but never shorter than a dwarf, bodies range in width.
Orkura (Orc) - Outcasts. Brutish, dark skin in nature with different tints of green. Most have an overbite on their lower jaw with tiny canines poking up overtop of their upper lip. Their body sizes vary much like the humans.
Dwarves - Short and stout. However, they do not take pride in their beards like all dwarves. Some do, but not all. Their hair is often coarse and very thick. Their bodies ranges in girths, most barrel chested from years of labour. They are one of the races that move the most, never able to sit still for long periods of time.
Piless (Chain Guardians) - Sworn enemies of the Blackheart's. The Piless look like normal human beings, besides the ragged tribal tattoos that trail across their body. Some of the tattoos others are smaller and others larger, depending upon the type of power the Piless is granted. Typically bald headed and eyes ranging in a variety of colors. Chains are connected to each wrist, about the length of the Piless's leg.
Blackheart -

| I decided to move this part of the first post into one of its own to keep things a bit more separate and easier to read.
Magic System
Arcane - Arcane magic is wild and chaotic. Results are often never the same as before, except in small doses. Drawing this type of magic, however, is very addictive, and often tempts with the users mind wanting to draw more and more, until they themselves become unstable. Small bits are controllably through force.
Spirit - Nature's gift to those who are willing to seek it. This magic has been lost for many of a year, though only a few know of its existance and can use it rightfully. It is give, but no take.
Divine - Through the prayers to the gods, small miracles are granted to those who hold their faith at the top of their list. The results also vary as this is just like Arcane in results, though often in good ways for those who follow a good path.
Soul/Blood - Soul and Blood magic is the equal to that of Divine. Prayers made to the lesser gods and even the evil ones, one must sacrifice their bodies of their blood and bits of their soul to accomplish feats of magic. This is often the strongest and deadliest forms of magic.

| Minor CharactersIra - Priest - Human
- Spoiler:
After the last devotion bell rung, signaling the end of the devotion itself, Pallir stood in front of the altar, looking up at the old priest who stood behind it. The old priest was well cut, clean shaven, though his eyebrows, dark gray in color from many years. He was bald and the sun that reflected through the stained glass windows always shined upon him during the devotions.
"Excellent devotion, Ira," Pallir said with a warm smile. A smile crept to Ira's lips then as he looked down at the prince. Despite his age, Ira too had a youthfulness about him, in his steps, and in his eyes, as he came down from the altar and stood beside of Pallir. He was a head shorter than Pallir, but Pallir was taller than most men.
"I just impart the words in which, He, speaks to me, Pallir," Ira's voice was comforting, like an old man's who was the best of grandfathers to a young child.
"I heard that Koryal left earlier, why is that?" Ira ended up asking, before they even took a few steps towards the doors that lead out of the devotion hall. Ira used a staff, as part of useful in walking, but the staff also carried their Lord's blessing.
"She did, but the why is clouded to me. She did not speak of her leaving," Pallir replied, her leaving had caused him to question why the moment he saw her leave from his quarters. She normally always told Pallir the news in which she traveled and where she had went. The fact that she did not do this, worried him greatly.
"She walks with the Lord's blessing, Pallir. She will return," Ira said with a smile, sure of himself that Koryal would return to them.
Rerik soon came running up to them, Pallir remembered him leaving the devotion hall to go to lunch, before continuing his training. "Lord Pallir, High-priest Ira, I have some grave news." His breathing was slightly labored, taking deep breaths and letting them out slowly to steady his heart rate and breathing once more.
"What is it, Rerik?" Pallir asked him, placing a hand on the boy's shoulder and gave it a squeeze.
"New's has come back from some passing traveller's that Tuera has been attacked and that the dead are walking again."
Ira quickly sent out a prayer, as did Pallir. Ira then went into spell casting, closing his eyes and focusing upon the village itself. As the spell completed, his eyes went distant and traveled across the land quickly, until settling upon Tuera. The lumbering forms of humans stumbled a bout, blood dripped from their mouths, as animals had been eaten. Ira could feel the lack of life in this area. He could feel the darkness that had taken it and encircled the village, watching as these undead beings started to leave the village, smelling flesh upon the air.
Ira's eyes opened slowly, his face was etched with concern as he looked over at Pallir and nodded. "They are speaking the truth, the place is crawling with undead."
Something was amiss, and Pallir knew it. But he could not place his finger on what was happening, but he was determined to find out. His blue eyes looked over to Rerik. "Gather a handful of our finest and some of the priests."
Rerik nodded quickly and left to do his duty. "I must go Ira, I'm going to go with them to see what has befallen this village for myself and see if I can find any clues to what's going on," his voice was calm.
"Just becareful, I sense something is amiss with this," Ira said and patted Pallir on the shoulder, before leaving himself. The two of them were beyond formal names, they were the best of friends.
Pallir headed to his chamber to gather his armor.
