Letters From a Friend Empty
PostSubject: Letters From a Friend   Letters From a Friend EmptySat Dec 05, 2009 3:56 pm

Welcome to Chesapeake Bay, USA. It's the largest estuary within the USA, housing an incredibly small town of fishermen. Picture small town life, with even smaller thoughts, tranquil spots, lovely little bays, and bayous, quarries, the perfect small town. Or so everyone else thought. But it's stifling. Annoying. Lonely. And there's absolutely NOTHING to do. The perfect reason for two best friends to get the hell out. And as fast as they can. One's an actress, the other a singer, or they will be. One day. They get out of the small town, get on with their lives in the big city. And boy do they choose a big city. New York City, New York. Population: God awful amounts. But this doesn't deter the pair. They're sure they can make it. Positive, actually. But only one does. The singer makes it huge, larger than life living. But the actress goes back home, in absolute defeat.

Ten years later, they're still friends, though they never see one another or talked on the phone in almost ten years. And then, one day, the singer gets a letter in the mail. It changes everything. Can she save her best friend?

That's what we've got, sweetie pie. I'm working on a character sheet right now. Though... >_> I guess I have to wait. LMAO! Which part do you want to play? The singer, or the actress? o_o

Name: Emaline Watson
Appearance:
Spoiler:
Personality: Emma is smart. Brilliantly smart, and always had the best possible grades in school. She’s a book worm, and an absolute nerd; though she prefers the term intelligent. While she was one of the smartest girls in her class, her passions never were towards her studies. Emaline had the voice of an angel, and she used it, often. She sang as much as she possibly could. It was her entire life, and even more. She’s incredibly bold, and often says things before she thinks about them, coming off as rude, or uncensored. And she’s the first person to apologize for her ways, though it’s hardly ever heartfelt.
Short History: When Emma was born, her father got full custody of her, mainly because her mother was a coke addict. But he turned out to be a horrible man that used Emma to replace the "Missing" woman in his life. This went on for years and years. Emma and her father moved to the small town of Chesapeake Bay when she was only five. They moved into a small, two bedroom house at the end of town. Emma was home schooled, something she hated, and begged her father to change, but he was unrelenting until she turned twelve and let her go to public school. While everyone in town viewed Emma’s father as the perfect man, the perfect parent, and thought they had the perfect family, Emma knew better. There were secrets behind closed doors that no other knew about.
Others: Emma was raped by her father her entire childhood. Elonda’s the only one who knows. She has a tattoo of a rose on her right butt cheek.

Name: Elonda Rose
Appearance:
Spoiler:
Personality: Elonda is a quiet person. She made good grades, through a lot of studying. Elonda is the oldest of three. She has a sister named Sarah, five years younger, and a brother named Josh eight years younger. Ella hides away from reality in her books. She also loves to write. Her passion is acting, she loves playing out the scenes in her favorite books, forcing Ema to help her. She knows that one day, she will be a well known actress.
Short History: Her father died when she was eight, leaving her mother to take care of the bills, and Elonda to take care of the kids. One day her mother comes home drunk and finds Elonda watching TV past her bedtime and beats her for it, it becomes a fairly regular thing for Elonda‘s mother, Helen, to do after that. Helen normally beats Elonda once a week, but never touches her other children.

Elonda met Emaline when she was five, after Ema moved across the street from Ella. They became fast friends and were inseparable. Ema knew all of Ella‘s secrets, but nobody else did.
Others: Nobody other than Ema ever finds out what Helen does to her oldest daughter. Ella also became pregnant in high school, but lost her baby after her mother beat her, not knowing that her daughter is pregnant. Nobody, not even the father, finds out besides Ema.
