Pokemon: Ogrelo (IC)

The world of pokemon has always been grand, trainers beginning with a pokemon they may have caught with their own skill, or resorting to talking with any of the esteemed pokemon professors. The most famous professor known to man is Professor Oak, who managed to restore the faith in all pokemon trainers from different regions after letting a young, soon to be pokemon master into the world with a trusted pikachu. Our saga begins in the Ogrelo Region, more importantly, at the Miscuous train depot, where most rookie and slightly experienced trainers meet to head to Newbirth Town, the town where everyone will meet the fairly known Professor Bloke. But I digress, let us continue with our saga.

It was a bright and sunny day in Miscuous City, the Pidgey were screeching and the Murkrow were cawwing. The days sun was hitting the station just right, leaving all of the trainers awaiting the chance to meet Professor Bloke to be warm and comfortable with what was about to happen to their lives. Many of the trainers had their pokemon out with them, there were Oddish, Togepi's, and basic pokemon of all types at their trainers sides. Inside the station however, there was a slight problem. "Look, I've shown you my ticket, I need to get to the station as soon as possible!" A rasped voice from a cloaked man seemed to echo throughout the station. "I'm sorry sir, bit with the recent attack on the city, nobody will be allowed into the station, the trainers awaiting the train will be the only ones that will be leaving this city..." The station attendant said with a slight frown.

The cloaked man seemed to pause for a few seconds, before nodding, slowly making his way to the exit of the station, before running towards the entrance gate, his cloak flowing through the air as he dodged people walking and the occasional security guard, making his way to the platform, watching as the other trainers looked at a large television screen. ""What an outstanding battle! It appears as though this trainers Typhlosion has wiped the floor with Mr. Nasamoto! This has truly been an outstanding battle, make sure to stay tuned to the Elite Four to see if this promising adventurer has what it takes to beat the Elite Four!" The camera slowly panned to the face of the trainer, as the cloaked man smiled under his hood. "Way to go Cole... I'm glad I managed to teach you so much..." After speaking to himself, the screen began to crackle with static, as a figure dressed in black and white emerged on the screen. "People of Miscuous, we are Team Nemesis, here to take control over the numerous regions of the pokemon world, it appears as though with your famous radio tower, we are able to broadcast our transmission which will allow us to take control over all of your pokemon. Our transmission will wander through all regions until all pokemon will be under control." The yells and screams of concerned citizens echoed throughout Miscuous City, as the cloaked figure simply shook his head.

"We will, however, agree to stop this transmission if you surrender your pokemon to us now, and pay us One hundred million pokedollars. You have thirty minutes to comply to our demands, before we play our transmission for the world to hear!" The Nemesis Executive began laughing maniacally as the screen changed to a backwards timer, starting at 30, and heading down ever so slightly. The cloaked figure gasped slightly before stepping forward. "We need to stop them... Pokemon aren't meant to be captured that way..."

Kuroi stood around, trying hard not to trip over anybody as he waited. Most people still had their pokemon out despite the crowd, but Blaze and Bolt had been carefully recalled and pocketed to keep the crowd from being any larger than it needed to be. He wished some of the other trainers would follow the courteous example... He followed a trainer's battle as two pokemon dueled relentlessly, the trainer finally finishing of his opponent with a well timed blow. Whoever it was was doing really well against the elite four so far, but he hadn't caught the trainer's name. He wandered off to get a pretzel, and look around for a corner to free Blaze and Bolt for a minute so they could eat with him, when the crowd gasped in near unison. A sense of panic expanded through the room, but Kuroi couldn't figure out what was causing it from his position at the back edge of the crowd. He zipped his jacket up a little tighter, the pressure of his pokeballs against his chest reassuring him that his friends were still both safe, and able to help him if something was really wrong.

Kaia stood closest to the big tv screen watching the Trainer battle with the Elite Four, his loyal Growlithe by his side. He'd only just noticed it but it appeared to be the very first round and the trainer still had a full complement to go. As the camera panned to show the mans face someone moved in front of him and Kaia leaned around him to see the screen but as he did it degraded to static and a man dressed in black and white appeared instead.
"People of Miscuous, we are Team Nemesis, here to take control over the numerous regions of the pokemon world, it appears as though with your famous radio tower, we are able to broadcast our transmission which will allow us to take control over all of your pokemon. Our transmission will wander through all regions until all pokemon will be under control."
Kaia's face went dark, there was one thing he couldn't stand above all else and that was useless morons who mistreated pokemon. Kaia wasn't really the 'nice guy' type, nor was he really a hero, but thugs like this had to be put in their place.
"We will, however, agree to stop this transmission if you surrender your pokemon to us now, and pay us One hundred million pokedollars. You have thirty minutes to comply to our demands, before we play our transmission for the world to hear!"
"Bastards." Kaia looked around at all the panicked trainers and shook his head in disgust.
"Forget this. Kit!" Without another word he shoved his way to the station entrance, leapt the turnstyle and started running for the radio tower, Kit running at his heel the whole time.
"We'll show them what happens when you mess with pokemon!"

Cole stood there in the heat surronded by nob heads your probably shouldn't have left their mom's basemenet. There were several reasons for his obvious discomfort, A - it was hot and sunny. Cole didnt like the sun very much, he burned way too easily. B - he was surronded by dumbass trainers and their obnoxious pokemon. C - he had a heavy pokemon egg on this sling type device hanging over his shoulder yet under his shirt. Cola haappened to be uber paranoid something bad was going to happen to his egg.

"People of Miscuous, we are Team Nemesis, here to take control over the numerous regions of the pokemon world, it appears as though with your famous radio tower, we are able to broadcast our transmission which will allow us to take control over all of your pokemon. Our transmission will wander through all regions until all pokemon will be under control."

"Ahh shit."

"We will, however, agree to stop this transmission if you surrender your pokemon to us now, and pay us One hundred million pokedollars. You have thirty minutes to comply to our demands, before we play our transmission for the world to hear!"

"Yeah this is totally gunna end badly." Cole muttered to himself before zipping up his jacket. Cole started walking in the opposite direction of the radio tower to put as much distance as possible between him and Team Nemesis.

The cloaked figure watched as two of the trainers ran towards the Radio Tower. "It's good to know that some trainers still care about the world... I better join them, just as soon as I take off this damned...." The cloaked figure gripped the hood of his cloak, tearing it off as a figure wearing a white lab coat, a crimson shirt and blue denim jeans. Six pokeballs hung from his belt, each one with a different seal. "COME ON OUT! ELECTIVIRE, RIOLU AND ABRA!" Three of the pokeballs seals began glowing, as they clipped off his belt and hit the ground, sending out the three pokemon he called forth.

"Rio, Rio!" The Riolu that had emerged from the pokeball stretched itself out and quickly climbed up the large Electivires arm, resting on it's shoulder, giving a polite smile towards both the Professor and Electivire. "Abra, Ab!" The Abra cracked it's neck slightly as it teleported, making it's way to the top of Electivires head, sending a kind, yet cocky grin to Electivire, Riolu and the Professor. "VIIIIRE!" Electivire let out a slightly angry cry as is moved behind the professor, as they made their way to where they came in.

"If there are any other trainers that want to join us to stop this terrorist attack, meet me at the Radio Tower!" The Professor yelled out to all the other trainers as he ran towards the Radio Tower, quickly meeting up with Kaia. "Oh, hello there! It's nice to know that you care to stop these menaces as much as I do. Pleased to meet you, I'm Professor Bloke." The Professor outstretched his arm to the unknown trainer.

"Ferno! Monferno!"

"Jonah! Stop that right this instant and get back in your ball!"

"Ferno! Ferno Fernoooo."

Maxwell wanted to go crawl in a hole right about now, reluctantly following and watching as her renegade Monferno used several different peoples heads as stepping stones while he bounced around the train station in fit of ill temper. She was far too worried about the trouble her monkey would cause than the battle that was going onscreen. Somehow, she didn't know how yet, she had managed to make the fire type extremely angry, resulting in his little tantrum and on several occasions she and Stitch had tried to capture the Pokémon and put it back in its ball, but it kept dodging her attempts "Stitch, can you try use Psychic one more time" beside her, the mute Spinda nodded in affirmation and started to use its Psychic prowess to try and grab at the bouncing primate, but his attempt proved futile as Jonah bounced out of sight and range, the last thing the duo saw was a flash of brown, blue and red before he dropped down into the crowd.

"Great, we lost him" Maxwell huffed as Jonah disappeared from her vision, she palmed a hand to her face and began to mumble to herself "this day can't get any worse."

"People of Miscuous, we are Team Nemesis, here to take control over the numerous regions of the Pokémon world, it appears as though with your famous radio tower, we are able to broadcast our transmission which will allow us to take control over all of your Pokémon. Our transmission will wander through all regions until all Pokémon will be under control."

Upon hearing this, Max cursed "Oh you have got to be freaking kidding me! I need to find Jonah, he's already pissy enough without the transmission, I don't need him to go berserk and kill me!"

"We will, however, agree to stop this transmission if you surrender your Pokémon to us now, and pay us One hundred million PokéDollars. You have thirty minutes to comply to our demands, before we play our transmission for the world to hear!" The Nemesis Executive began laughing maniacally as the screen changed to a backwards timer, starting at 30, and heading down ever so slightly.

Shit, that's the last thing she needed right now.

"Jonah! Jonah? Where are you!?" Cupping her hands around her mouth, Maxwell began calling for her disappeared Monferno, where the heck had he gone?

Kuroi couldn't hear much over the din, but he could see the distinctive white coat of a Professor clearly as Prof. Bloke made his way out of the crowd with a small crowd of pokemon following him. He took off after the adept trainer, quickly reaching the decision that if there was actually any trouble the safest place to be was with a master trainer. He unzipped his jacket, took out the first pokeball, and released the button over his shoulder, Blaze clutching the leather with his talons. He replaced the ball and removed the second, Bolt shortly after found himself riding in a large jacket pocket. His sneakers slapped the concrete as he raced after the Professor, ready for anything.

Professor Bloke turned around to notice that there was yet another trainer at the Radio Tower with him and the unknown trainer. "Oh, why hello there! I'm Professor Bloke, the newest pokemon professor, specific for this region. And you are?" The professor smiled as he presented his hand to the recent newcomer. He shook the promising trainers hand briskly, before his attention was slowly diverted. "FERNOOO!" The professor turned his head at the wrong moment, watching as a Monferno headed directly towards his face, delivering two swift kicks to his mid-section. Riolu saw this as a threat, and jumped off the shoulder of Electivire, before being stopped by the professor, who merely held out a hand.

"WHO'S MONFERNO IS THIS?!?"

"I'm Kuro-" He stopped, fairly stunned, as the professor was nearly taken off his feet by the rogue pokemon. Blaze twittered in alarm, while Bolt ran up to his shoulder with a prolonged and aggressive "Chu!".
The professor regained composure quickly and called for the Monferno's owner. Kuroi calmed his friends down, rubbing under his Torchic's chin, and behind his Pichu's ear. "It's alright, the fighting isn't here yet."

"Any signs of him Stitch?" The mute Spinda shook his head no and Max sighed while he continued to glance around from his perch atop her head, they were still wandering around the crowded train station, looking for her renegade Monferno "Where do you think he could've went? Maybe we should try outside the station. . ." she mumbled trailing off and glancing at the timer, which was steadily decreasing by the minute. "We need to find Jonah fast, he's already enough trouble without mind control." Stitch nodded in agreement and Maxwell made her way towards the exit.

"FERNOOO!"

Figures, upon reaching the exit, Jonah would make his appearance and it would be just her luck to spot him attacking someone. Stitch tilted his head downwards, looking Max right in the eye, with a look that clearly asked 'do we really want to go over there?' She gave the bear a solemn look and nodded, heaving a deep and embarrassed sigh, she ran up to the two who had the unfortunate experience of meeting Jonah "Jonah! What are you doing, apologize right now!" The Monferno only glanced briefly at Maxwell before leaping away from the professor and sliding into a fighting stance, glaring challengingly at Stitch "Ferno Ferno!"

"Stitch, Hypnosis please."

Stitch nodded and hopped down from his perch and gave Jonah a long hard look, which resulted in the monkey falling face forward into a deep slumber. Max sighed in relief and quickly recalled the monkey, smiling down at Stitch who grinned as wide as his stitches would allow him "Thanks a lot Stitch" he gave his head a slight nod before moving his gaze towards the professor and other kid with a Torchic and Pichu, Max did the same and gave them both sheepish, apologetic smiles "I am so sorry about this, I didn't think Jonah would attack anyone."

Kaia had made it all the way to the corner of the last block from the radio tower and he and Kit were currently peering around it, across the road at the tower.
"uh hi Professor Bloat? whatever, you've come to hel-?" Kaia stopped mid sentence as a Monferno appeared seemingly out of nowhere and attacked the professor, another two trainer appeared and..
what a bunch of morons, are they seriously here to try and help? Kaia thought to himself, these losers will only slow me down
"Well when you clowns are done being funny I've been watching the entrance and it's too well guarded, i think there's a door around back that might be open so i'm going to check it out come if you want, but if you really want to help I could use a diversion at the main entrance" With a nod to his faithful growlithe he made his way across the street aways down from the tower and turned down an alley which then led him behind the row of building and allowed him to approach the back door undetected, unfortunately there was still a Nemesis grunt guarding it as well as another having a smoke.
Kaia paused for a moment, still unseen and formulated his plan of attack.

Kuroi took off towards the front door. If the trainer had a plan that needed a distraction, he had that covered. "Bolt, give them a little tingle on the way past!" He never stopped running, not even when he felt his hair stand on end as his Pichu discharged a quick bolt towards the guards at the front door.
As his feet slapped the concrete, the guards behind him gave chase shouting "Get back here, you punk!"
He tore off to the next building, and stopped behind the corner of the concrete building. "Blaze, you're up..." When the guards passed around the corner, if they passed around the corner, they would find themselves in hot water.

The professor looked at the two people that had already decided to take initiative in the attack of Team Nemesis. "Such cocky trainers, reminds me of a much simpler time..." Professor Bloke tilted his head to one side, thinking of a time when trainers would act first and ask questions later, one of the trainers he had met on his travels immediately came to mind. He slowly snapped out of his daydreamed state and turned to his pokemon. "Hey Riolu, do you think you could try and dig through the ground and make your way inside the building?" The professor knelt down to look at his Riolu at eye level, watching as Riolu shook his head and shrugged.

"Darn... Well we have to start thinking of a plan to get into this place... Wait a second..." The professor looked at Kuroi turning a corner of the building. These two trainers had possibly thought of a situation like this for quite some time now. Planning out all the possibilities and everything else. The professor decided to stay at the entrance, hoping that as soon as the two trainers got inside, they would open the front door.


"Look, all I'm saying is that we need to form a damn union! I haven't seen any cash in my bank account since I first started... We need to form a strike or something..." One of the Nemesis grunts said to the other, while he had a casual drag of his cigarette. "That may be, but look at us! We are grunts for Team Nemesis... Did you seriously expect cash flow with all of these crappy tower hold-ups? Really? There is no cash in the radio business, everyone listens to their music on their Pokemp3 players!" The grunt snapped back, hitting the other grunt with the harsh reality of their mistake. Both of the grunts simply shrugged it off as the one having his smoke break took another drag and tilted his head to the left, coughing up smoke and phlegm as he saw the distinct shadow of Kaia there.

"HEY! YOU! What do you think you're doing there?"

"HEY! YOU! What do you think you're doing there?" Unfortunately the grunt was too late in noticing Kaia, no sooner had the words left his mouth than Kit landed on his chest after a full bodied leap,
"Wha-" the grunt knocked his head on the wall behind him as he fell, sending him slumping to the floor out cold. But The first guy was only just a stepping stone as the lithe Growlithe bounced straight off him after impact and leapt onto the second Grunt, knocking him to the ground and standing on his chest and growling ferociously right into his face, teeth bared and drooling.
Kaia came sprinting up to assess the outcome, pokeball in hand. He glanced first at the unconcious grunt then at the trapped one; quivering in fear at the dangerous pokemon perched on his chest (he definitely didn't get paid enough for this).
"Well now, what should i do with you i wonder." While Kaia was still thinking however he looked down to notice..the guy had completely fainted, passed out from fear alone.
"um..ok? unexpected." Kaia said exchanging a puzzled look with his pokemon who gave the Growlithe version of a shrug and hopped off the guy after sniffing his face.
"yep, he's definitely out of it, no fooling Kit." with a shrug of his own Kaia entered through the unlocked back door and snug inside the building, Kit as always, right at his heel.

So much was happening, much too fast for her to follow, apparently these guys were trying to stop the signal from reaching around the region and sending Pokémon into a berserk rage, which was good because an angry Jonah is a Jonah to lookout for and that's not something she wanted to look out for. "C'mon Stitch, lets go help these guys out" Max then took off to where she saw that boy and his Pichu run off to. He was holding his own, pretty well. The Pichu and Torchic holding their own pretty well against the guards, but a little extra help couldn't hurt "Okay Stitch, lets help him out with Ice Beam!" Max pointed towards the oncoming guards that were planing on surprising the boy, Stitch nodded and shot a beam of raw blue energy at the guards, the second it touched them, then froze instantly, a block of ice surrounded their shape "Good job Stitch" Max grinned at her mute Spinda, who nodded and gave a thumbs up.

"You looked like you could use alittle help here" she said running up to the boy.

"People of Miscuous, we are Team Nemesis, here to take control over the numerous regions of the pokemon world, it appears as though with your famous radio tower, we are able to broadcast our transmission which will allow us to take control over all of your pokemon. Our transmission will wander through all regions until all pokemon will be under control." said the Nemesis Executive in front of the camera, that was broadcasting his message to all of the Ogrelo Region. He then shook his head as panic started to boil around the people outside the Radio Tower, before he said:
"We will, however, agree to stop this transmission if you surrender your pokemon to us now, and pay us One hundred million pokedollars. You have thirty minutes to comply to our demands, before we play our transmission for the world to hear!" He started to laugh as a maniac, before the screen was turned into a backwards timer, starting on 30 and going down. The Nemesis Executive turned around, facing a full black dressed man that was sitting on a chair. "How was that, Commander?"
The Commander shook his head, and waved with his hand to come closer. "Fairly good, for a new promoted Nemesis ex-Grunt. I liked the laugh, it really showed your serious side. The serious side that everyone should see at Team Nemesis! I will put in a good word for you, but only if this goes as we planned." The Nemesis Executive stood there, not understanding what that last part meant. Team Nemesis fail a mission, when there is a Commander in the area? The Executive asked the Commander, "Goes as planned? How can we fail? We got high Security inside AND outside the Radio Tower, we got the door that leads to the Towers Generator looked and watched by 4 Grunts that is close to promotion and let's not forget about you! You should be the best Trainer in this city right now, so why are you having doubts about victory?"
The Commander laughed before he said, "Have you thought about all the new Trainers down at the trains? Those who came here to try on the Gyms? Do you think all of them is amateurs? If they side up with each others, then we could be in serious problems. Unless I go down there and stop them, but what fun would that be? I like strong opponents! Opponents that wont go running to their mommies, crying at their shoulders and complain that their future is ruined for all eternity! Those opponents is what I want, not kids."
He got up from his chair and walked over to a window, looking down at the people that was running around, panicked as kids who have lost their parents in a mall. "Note my words, that our chances to succeed is small, but that is if they can get to the Towers Generator in time and shut it down. After all, we got 30 minutes to distract them."

The professor looked up at one of the windows, looking towards one of the Nemesis people, most likely their commander. Suddenly, and most surely, the professor reached for one of his pokeballs. "Tropius! I choose you!" The pokeball hit the ground with a fairly loud pinging sound as the crowd separated from the radio tower, revealing the brown and green pokemon that was self professed as the Fruit Pokemon. Each and every one of the rookie trainers who had just recently started had taken out their pokedex's, recording the data of the Tropius as the professor jumped up onto the back of his prized flying pokemon. "Now, Tropius... Fly up to the roof, perhaps we can gain access to the building from the door up there!" The professor pointed to the roof as Tropius lifted itself off the ground, the leaves on its back flapping ever so slightly as they made their way past the window with the Commander. The professor chuckled as he darted a threatening look to the commander, a look that simply said 'You had better watch out.'

As the man with the Tropius flew by the window, Cyle turned around to the Executive. "What's our defenses on the roof?" The Executive started to think, until he said, "Three Grunts, sir!"
Cyle turned again to look down on the people, enjoying the sight of their fear. "What's their relationship? Friends, foes or anything like that? And how good are they and what Pokemon's are they using? What's their strategies?" The Executive started to think again, until he said, "They are brothers, sir, and they are really friendly to each others. But they hate every non-Nemesis, so they will certainly fight hard to keep the intruder away. All three of them got one Mankeys each, but the oldest one of them got a second one. I think it was a Geodude, or was it an Ghastly? Now I remember, it was an Golbat. They will certainly attack him at the same time, giving his Pokemon's limited options to defend itself. Why do you ask, sir?"
Cyle turned again to face the Executive, with an smile on his lips. "I think we got ourself 7 or 8 minutes before he get's down here, if they are as you say. Enough time to prepare for an battle, don't you say?"

The professor had finally made it to the roof of the radio tower, looking at three of the grunts that seemed to be expecting him. The professor flailed his arms wildly and opened his mouth. "Oh no! Three Nemesis grunts waiting for a pokemon professor to try and foil their plans! Whatever shall I do?" The professor grinned as he landed on the roof, bringing his Tropius back into the ball, then taking out three other pokeballs, returning his Electivire, Riolu and Abra to their respective locations, before sending out Electivire yet again. A wide smirk fell upon the face of the professor as he glared at the three grunts, his Electivire doing the same.

"Now, lets see what excellent pokemon you all have, here's hoping they are as great as mine... He's been itching for some fair competition after pummeling numerous Mankey..."

The three Grunts took out one Pokeball each, smiling to each others. "Heard that, young brothers? His Electivire wants to fight something else then Mankeys. Too bad for him, because that is what we got!", the biggest one of them said, apparently the oldest one of them, as he released his Mankey, before the other two did the same. "Your going down, man! Your nothing against the Grunt Brothers!", the middle one said. The smallest one of them, the youngest of them, said "Our Mankeys are not like the others! We have defeated tougher Pokemon's then a Electivire so you should just shut up!"
The furry little monkeys jumped up on the heads of the three Grunts, waiting for them to give them the order to attack. Then all three of them said at the same time: "Attack, Mankey!"

The professor let out a long, elongated sigh as he places his hand on the back of Electivire. "I think you know exactly what to do, we have practiced enough on Mankeys that you can take them on in just one swift move." The professor smirked at the three grunts as Electivire nodded slowly. "VIIIIIIRE!" The Thunderbolt Pokemon let out a loud roar as the two small conductors on its back began glowing slightly, small currents of electricity passing between them, as Electivire prepared for its attack. "ELECTIVIRE! USE DISCHARGE!" The professor yelled as a flare of electricity went forth, shocking all of the Mankey, causing them to take alot of damage, and making the weaker ones faint.

The Mankeys had no time to avoid the high electricity attack, as they only for a moment ago jumped off the heads of their Trainers. They landed down on the ground, rolling around in pain until they suddenly stood up, like nothing had happened.
"Don't you think that Team Nemesis got training courses so that you can train with your Pokemon's? That we don't prepare ourself for anything, like that attack of yours? Don't make us laugh!", the oldest Grunt said, looking on his brothers with a look that said "Let's give him hell". The Mankeys skipped over to their Trainers and then they positioned themselves around the Electivire, ready to attack from one side each. "Take them out, Mankey", yelled all three of them, as their Mankeys jumped to attack the Professor's Pokemon's.

"Not really, they had just shown up when you came around the corner. Thanks for the assist though, every second counts!" Kuroi checked the door, then rammed his shoulder into it, busting it open and racing in with Blaze and Bolt hot on his heels. "Let's nail these guys!"
He rounded a corner at full tilt and spotted a cheesily garbed henchman leaning against the wall tossing a pokeball idly. "Bolt, you're up." He reached down and picked his friend up, then tossed him casually through the air as if playing a slow game of baseball. "Fry him!"

Kaia found himself standing at a back entrance to the main foyer of the radio tower, so far he'd been lucky and not encountered any other thugs belonging to the gang but he was only on the ground floor. There were likely to be many more foes higher up, someone of lesser determination would certainly never manage such a mission alone.
