| Here's a couple poems I've written the past couple of years. Outsider Looking InThis was written in 2006. It's emo-ish, I won't lie. A bit corny, but that's how I was feeling. - Spoiler:
I sit and stare at my so-called friends,
Wondering when I'll be let in.
In on the jokes and the half brained skemes.
In on the plans and the good times shared.
Sometimes I think that it will never be;
And all the cliched friendships are not meant for me.
I may want them more then you'll ever know,
But just cause I want it doesn't mean I'll get it.
So I've learned to settle for what I am.
An outsider looking in on my friends. Broken HeartedThis one I wrote back in 2007 and yea, it's a bit emo too. lol. I'm sure you can figure out what it's about. - Spoiler:
Everytime he looks away
Everytime his gaze will stray
Her heart breaks a little more each day
As he drifts further and further away
Her love ignored and trust shattered
Apparently her feelings don't matter
Left all alone but nobody cares
So she sits alone and stares
Stares at the knife; stares at the gun
Thinking that her life is one stupid pun
Wanting it to stop, needing it to end
Only then will her broken heart mend Yet to be NamedThis is the first love poem I've written since I was sixteen. I'm pretty happy with it, even though it's a little more sappy than what I'm used to writing now. It was written this year, 2009. - Spoiler:
There once was a girl that felt all alone, In a world that was so cruel and hurtful.
She’d lock others out, letting no one in; Afraid of the pain they’d surely cause her.
Then one day, he came back into her world; Forcing her to shed her gown of mourning.
Causing her to smile, giggle and laugh too; Quickly breaking down the wall she once built.
Rapidly falling, she felt so carefree, Knowing that he would certainly catch her.
For once she felt so completely happy, Sure she would love him for eternity.

| Here's one that I don't know how I feel about. Give me some feedback, I think it could do with some work... As of yet unnamed- Spoiler:
Down you go, into the rabbit hole Falling so hard, so quickly. Spinning away, knocked off course, Revolving around the new man. Then one day, away he goes, Taking your heart with him. Death comes; the blissful release. And everyone knows it's his fault.
