Here's the OOC, let's discuss where we wanna go with this!

Well one of the most crucial items would have to be the genre of music... Possibly starting off in the good ol' days when it first started as a garage band? Playing gigs for little to no money?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too, I also think we should have.. limited.. abilities at the start.

Like... Mediocre guitar skills, sloppy singing, drummer casually loses their sticks?

Yeah, that kinda stuff. I think this should be a funny one, I wanna be able to laugh when I'm reading it.

Like the singer trying to stage dive into a crowd of 14 year old's?

Musical Influence would be great... It could show the background of the character's current music lifestyle... A drummer, could of grown up listening to Metallica, Blink-182, all of the greatest drummers in history. The guitarist... Hendrix, Hammett... Well, you get what I mean.

Here's my character then:

Name: Khristian
Age: 18
Appearance: Short, but well built, always wears crazy colourful stuff mixed with band tshirts and Vans, has long dark hair down to his shoulders, Has one tattoo on his right arm.
Instrument: Drums
Musical Influences: Khristian is influenced by Mike Portnoy of Dream theater, and Neil Peart of Rush. He is a big fan of progressive, excessive and exttravagant styles of drumming.
Quick bio: Khristian is an unusual guy, he's always got energy, and likes to play pranks on people all the time. when he is drumming, he is high energy, but low ability at the moment. He has delusions of grandeur, but doesn't have the skills to back it up. He lives at his parents house, which is pretty big, so they don't mind him drumming whenever he needs to. More to follow.

Name: Samuel 'Ciggy' Crawfield
Age: 19
Appearance: Ciggy stands at around six foot, six inches. His hair just stops right above his shoulders as it lightly waves off into different directions. His crystal clear sapphire eyes gaze into the audience any chance he gets and normally dresses in a random band shirt, black jeans, and a leather jacket with a red, unidentified symbol on the back of it.
Instrument: Vocals
Musical Influences: Ciggy has been influenced by some of the classic rockers and metalheads, ranging from Jon Bon Jovi, Steven Tyler, Mick Jagger, and his personal idol, James Hetfield. He has been known to just randomly burst into song, which inspired him to start singing.
Quick bio: Ciggy simply gets his nickname for one reason... You will never see him without a cigarette in his hand, whether it be lit or not. Ciggy lives a pretty normal life, former graduate of high school, teenage blogger and randomly searching for jobs to pay the rent. When he grabs the microphone, the music flows through every single vein in his body, as his lips bring out the melody, or the pure unbridled heat of the song... For now, he see's himself as the second greatest vocalist in the known universe, to others, he is a very sloppy singer.

Name: Rose-Mary (Goes by Rose) Alvera
Age: 18
Appearance: She is 'petite' (5'2), she hates to be called short, so if someone calls her thought she will glare. She has a curvy and well proportioned body. Her face is angular shaped, with high cheek bones. She has a lovely smile showing off her thinnish, natural pink lips. Her eyes are a hard leaf green and her hair is cut in a bob, naturally black with tips dyed blue, purple. She two piercings in her right ear and one in the left, while she has a cartilage piercing in that ear. On her back is a tattoo of simple faerie wings. One her left ankle has a tattoo of of a thorn rose, wrapping around it. Tends to wear medium length skirts or tight jeans. Shirts- depends how she is feeling that day. She wears wedged shoes or boots.
Instrument: Bass/ Back up vocal
Musical Influences: Was inspired by Metallica, The Cranberries, The Cure, Christian Death, Queen, The Bravery, The Damned, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, and the Goo Goo Dolls, other oldie and '80 rock and goth rock bands. Her influence for bass was Victor Lemonte Wooten and The Beatles bass player, Paul McCartney. Her favorite singers are Gary Jules, Jem, and Al Green, as well as the vocalist of Secret Garden, Fionnuala Sherry for her misty, soothing tone of voice. (There are a few others).
Quick bio: Rose was raised in a middle home, brought in the rock music atmosphere, but when she picked up the bass it was a bit messy. She is an average student who graduated and attempted college for a few months, but dropped out after her first semester. She works at a bookstore full time and still finds time to attempt practicing her bass and listen to her influence to help her succeed. She dreams of being the best bassist....

Name: Alvin "Big Al" Cloverfield
Age: 19
Appearance: Al is 6 feet tall exactly, and weighs about 175 lbs. He is very slender, which gives the appearance he is taller than he really is. His hair is short and cropped, but if he let it grow out it would be a dirty, dark brown. He has blue eyes, and pale skin. He usually wears a skin tight black t-shirt and dark blue or black jeans with white etnies for shoes.
Instrument: Guitar
Musical Influence: Big Al is most influenced by two guitarists. The first being Joe Satriani and the second is Jimi Hendrix.
Quick bio: Al was raised by his father because his mother left when Al was very young. Al's father had little time at home, but the time he did have there he spent teaching Al how to play the guitar. Al and his father would sit and listen to some of the greatest guitarists of all time and laugh as the told each other how they would both be famous one day. This dream was quickly dashed when Al received a call telling him his father had been in a terrible car accident. Insead of letting this get him down, Al vowed to become one of the greatest guitarists ever to honor his father. Al currently works at a small cafe and plays his guitar in his free time.

Name: Jackie
Age: 16
Appearance: She's quite average. She's young so her cheeks are round and her eyes are big. She has brown hair that's long and light freckles covered her face. She has thick rimmed glasses and a mouth full of braces. She tends to wear form fitting t-shirts and skinny jeans, which don't look bad, but still makes her a bit nondescript.
Instrument: Fangirl/wannabe lyricist/tamborine
Musical Influences: THE BAND, green day. Garage bands.
Quick bio: She's quite the nobody, quiet and always in the shadows, but ever since she heard the band play a free concert, she's been following them and offering to write songs for them and wants to play in their band. She probably gets annoying because she practically stalks Alvin (because she thinks he's hot) and is really persistent.

Any room left for maybe a rythm guitarist...?
