Have You Ever?

Have you ever lived my life?
Spent one minute in my shoes?
If you haven't then tell me why
You judge me as you do.

Have you ever seen a friend get shot
Outside his favorite store?
Have you ever seen a friend die
From drugs he'd used before?

Have you ever seen your mom get beat up
By your step dad or dad messed up on booze?
Have you ever had unwanted intimacy
Someone forcing you to loose?

Have you ever sat beneath the stars
Hoping God will hear?
Have you ever seen your friend drive away
After way too many beers?

Have you ever considered suicide
As the only way?
Have you ever tried to hide yourself
Behind the things you say?

Have you ever lived my life,
Spent one minute in my shoes?

Forever Gone

Late this night I lay awake thinking of only you.
My body shakes, the tears fall free, something I already knew.
I tremble inside, lost in this life, of sadness ever doubting.
Without you here my mind is lost, my screams subside to shouting.
The loss is mine, my heart is gone, forever it is wilted.
My thoughts run rampant as I think of you and how my love was jilted.
I knew this day would come to us, but the sorrow was not my plan.
So I lay here and cry, hoping to die, wanting to end it by my hand.
Forever you're gone, the love that I lost, never to stand beside me.
What once we had, must cease to be, we will never again be we.

Drink Me

Talk about the weather,
Will you miss me ever?
Lately I've been stressed,
And I need to rest.
I wish we could jest.
We used to talk for hours,
now we talk like cowards.
In a painted past.
Right through a looking glass.
Do you see me looking back?

Just swallow some more drink me, baby.
I've started to disappear.
My life's just like a barbed wire necklace,
Let's play truth or Dare.

Thought you were a fan of cold train,
One day I'll be Curt Cobain.
Yeah our truths are scary,
Just slam more Gin and Sherry.
Don't forget the Drink Me, you'll be
Writing words of song birds,
Never caring if I hurt.
And I'll be there in your front row.

Just swallow some more drink me, baby

Loving Her

Midnight flutters,
Late night kisses.
Body shudders,
All night wishes.

Wrapped in his arms,
warm touch of need.
Lost in his charm,
Loving his greed.

The more he takes,
The more he sees.
The more she shakes,
The more she pleads.

Waves crash,
Upon the shore.
Violent emotions,
She begs for more.

Crescent peaks,
Two become one.
Loving completion,
Until light comes.

Eyes see all
The doorway to the soul
The gateway to eternity
Forever
But never
Look up, down, left to right
Never miss a thing
Everything in sight
Captured

Choices

Crimson tears drip into the river deep.
Silent tears, which slide slowly down her cheek.
Among the rocks, and shore so silent,
She sits and weeps, her anguish strong. Violent.

Cursed by fate with less than dreams,
Her time has come, time to fight. To scream.
So jilted by love, she stares at herself.
Things not knowing, with nothing to help.

What truths do lie, against the shore.
Of here, of there, lost evermore.
Fights to come, with naught to lose,
Her path's unbroken, she's yet to chose.

One way the light for surely follows.
With kindly things, full of tomorrows.
And yet the darkness ever binding,
Should she chose, the path unwinding.

Who knows which way she'll surely go.
Light or dark, does she know?
To tempt her fate is death renewed.
But surely that would not intrude.

Wake up SCREAMING
All from DREAMING
Her heart REAMING
Evil LEERING

The room so DEEP
She's scared to SLEEP
Her heart will WEEP
She feels so CHEAP

Anger bubbles deep INSIDE
Fuck the world, mayhap she'll DIE
A vast abyss she needs to HIDE
And still his evil SNIDE

Anger! Bursts through her VEINS
Rage! Races through her BRAIN
Never will she REIGN
In a world of her own, no PAIN

Lord forgive them for they know not what they do.
They spout lies as dirty heretics say unto you.
On this day, within this hour, Lord they test thy divine holy power.
The truth will set you free,
still father god have you given thy holiest of power unto me?
I speak for the weak, the righteous and strong.
I know of the tears and violence gone wrong.
In our world of corruption and sorrow and pain,
the rain falls like tears, father what will thine enemy gain?
We need some guidance, a little nudge from above.
Please father god, we pray for your love.
You speak of love of understanding and truth,
yet they scream and yell, giving none of the glory to you.
Help us father god, our prayers are all screaming true.
The only thing that can save us... Your grace, lord it's you...
