Biography : Jessica was born and raised with her younger brother and older sister. Her parents weren’t Mystlings and she didn’t know she was one until her brother started lighting himself on fire. Her parents and sister where in the room watching Eric walk around like the human torch. When Jess came in he went normal. She took a couple steps back and he lit on fire again. Eric tried explaining that he’d been able to do this forever and that he did it every time he was home-alone. He went on to say that Jessica had just forced him to go back and he couldn’t use his mutation again. Jess then ran and has just found her way into Alpha Site.

There's nothing to understand about Sam. She hates humans. She doesn't really like Mystlings. She's perfectly willing to hurt someone, deceive someone and do whatever it takes to get her way, or to get by.

Sorin, that one may not work so well. Jessica Sewell wouldn't be able to negate the mutation, the mutation is in the genes of every cell in the mystling's body. Think for instance of Ryan, for all intents and purposes an Ogre. To negate his mutation, he'd have to become a normal human within ten feet of you... Not very practical at all. Besides which, there's pretty low odds that her mutation would even be noticed, she would be considered an undiagnosed Mystling, which is fine, but not very interesting. I think you might consider changing the ability to negate Myst use in general, thus preventing any human in the area from using magic, and effectively sealing most Mystling powers without actually making them change forms at all. This would, for instance, leave Orik a Lycan rip off, but allow him to speak without the chance of sonic booms.

It's up to you, if you can think of a reasonable way to explain the sudden shifts of appearance in Mystlings around her, it can stay the way it is. If not, I think the minor wording change would greatly improve the ease with which the character would fit to the setting...

Yeah... it'll negate the myst uses soo... Not the physical changes? But other things?

a bit of a suggestion... i think you guys should have her eventually be able to negate the mutations as well... but if... and ONLY IF... she masters her ability to its fullest extent... though this wouldn't be until much later in the RP

O.O... i just had a friggen brilliant idea for a character... i'll have him up by the end of tonight...

Name : Onimaru (Onimaru translates as "demon circle")

Age : 19

Mutation : Seemingly originating from his right arm, the flesh of Onimaru's body is a grotesque, twisted cacophony of warped tendons and tissue. The only reason his arm looks remotely human, is because of shape. In other words, he still has five fingers, a forearm, and a bicep connected to his shoulder, but most of it seems to be a warped collaboration of tendons and protrusions of a bony substance that jut out of his forearm and bicep. These protrusions usually are folded against the flesh, but have been known to stick out, as if spikes. The further away from his hand, the less prominent this mutation seems, though the remnant's of it extend to half his face and chest. His right eye is a deep, blood red, and the right side of his mouth is misshapen into a deformed, perpetual grin. When he speaks his face is not hidden, the teeth on the right side of his mouth all seem to be extended and sharpened to points. The rest of his body is as a normal human.

Appearance : Onimaru likes to hide his face, usually wearing some sort of hoody and keeping the strings tied close enough that people can't see his face. He even hides his face from other mystlings. He usually sticks to dark blues and reds, but rarely wears black, and would sooner wear hot pink than black. He wears denim jeans that fit him loosely, and even if the sleeves of his shirt have been removed (which happens with some of his outfits) his right arm is always covered, as is the right side of his face, neck, and chest. At times, he will wrap his arms in bandages and carry it in a sling, so he does not arise suspicion of being a mystling in human areas. He has several times attempted to claim his face and neck are like that due to scarring from burns, but this never seems to work.

Potential Scale: 0-10... depending (PM will be sent about his power, but i'd rather as few as possible know what he can do)

Biography : There is not much to be said. From the time Onimaru was a child, he has been not only outcast by society in general. His parents, abandoned him, and he was adopted by a new family of mystlings with such minor mutations that they went unnoticed in society. When he was five, however, his power went haywire, and he ended up killing both his parents in a violent bloodbath not of his control. From that point on, he began to hide from everyone, living on the street and eating whatever he could find. At the age of thirteen, he left his home town and began to walk across the USA from California. Now, six years later (he stayed in some places for quite a while), he's finally made it to New York, and has begun to hear about the Alpha Site.

Spare Room To Type : Onimaru was named by his adoptive parents for his appearance. He is american, but was raised by japanese parents until he was five. He has since abandoned his last name. In the past, he has had a severe amount a guilt about what his power does to people, but more recently has come to except it as an inevitability for those who attempt to get close to him.

Mutation : He has the ability to manipulate flame by shaping it as he desires, increasing or decreasing its heat, intensity, and size. He cannot actually create fire himself. Aaron cannot be harmed by fire or heat period. His temperature is naturally hotter then normal humans.

Biography : Aaron was born to a pair of average parents and showed an interest in fire at a young age. His childhood was fairly average; his parents expressed concern when they took him camping at the age of 5, he fell into the campfire and came out unscathed. The fire started doing funny things and the whole campsite caught on fire. After that he set a few of his schools on fire and him and a few people were miraculously left unhurt. As he got older he started getting cravings. He felt the need, the urge to burn things, and he’d burn whatever he saw first. People, buildings... it didn’t matter. He’s been living this way for a couple years now. HE currently resides in a secret basement of his parent’s big house. They’re aware of his abilities and that he’s living under their house but are much to afraid to confront him.

Spare Room To Type : Pyromaniac, tends to burn whatever is available when he gets a crazy or when he’s bored. He likes fire… duh… carries a three Zippos, one in an outer pocket the other two in an inner pocket along with a handful of Bic lighters. Oh, He smokes by the way.

Since Sherry just died in the Breakroom, i felt it time for a new character... i'm also excited to get her started in the Forum as well ^_^ Let me know if there are any problems

Name : Galina Sorino

Age : 17

Mutation : has violet colored eyes and the tips of her hair are permanently violet naturally.

Ability: Galina can bring anything that was drawn with ink, graphite, paint, chalk, or most any artistic medium to life. She can then control these living artworks to the extent that her own focus allows. When she stops concentrating, the creatures she creates simply return to their lifeless, flat forms wherever she stopped controlling them at.

Appearance : Galina is an attractive girl, but to say she is beautiful would be saying to much in her eyes. She is about average height for a girl her age, and she is fit as well. Her body type is slim and well toned and she has breast the size of a low b-cup, but she doesn't look like much of an athlete. Her complexion is fair and her features are soft and often carry a friendly expression. She has light brown hair, and in the right light can even be mistaken for being blonde. She likes to wear plain t-shirts and pants, whether they're jeans or sweat pants it doesn't matter to her. Her clothing rarely stays plain for more than fifteen minutes after putting it on, because she is constantly drawing on anything she can, including her clothes, her arms arms, walls, in a notebook, on a bar, anywhere she can. She also has a tattoo of two king cobras on her left arm, starting on her bicep and moving all the way to her wrist.

Hazard Level : 2-4 possibly 5 if she has a big enough medium.

Biography : Galina hasn't really had an eventful life. She grew up in a house raised by two human parents, neither of whom knows about her being a mystling. They do take precautions against assumptions of others, however, giving her contacts that make her violet eyes appear blue with the excuse that “We know you are not a freak, Gali. We just do not want other people to think that you are because of your strange eye color.” Galina also did not originally have purple tips in her hair until she was about thirteen. Her father threw a fit about it when he first saw her hair was purple, but Galina stuck to the assumption her father made about hair dye and has been protective of her secret ever since. Galina is currently a senior in human high-school and is taking college credits in art.

Spare Room To Type : Galina usually seems absorbed in her drawing, but is also surprisingly observant. Instead of observing through sight, however, she can pick up on several conversations at once and be able to consciously discern the difference of what is happening in each, though four is her limit. She is a quick learner and is actually quite social, but she rarely looks at who she's talking to if she's drawing.

well... since were about there in the breakroom... i'm going to be writing a fight scene for Orik and Enigma that will be taking place in the Breakroom timeline/universe. This might take one to several days, but regardless i won't be able to start until tomorrow or later tonight... thus, no one in the breakroom will be seeing either character until i finish with it.

also... i'll try to post ASAP in the forum. I just have been strugling to let my mind rest other than for the Breakroom and i apologize for this, but hopefully i can get over that tonight or tomorrow.
